"Exceptional"

Great property, nice pool, big room and very modern. Fast wifi. Only downside with our stay, noise from night club above, first night was bad, second night was better. Also breakfast a bit average. Overall 8/10.

"Nice stay in Medan!"

I decided to stay at the Grand Central Premier Hotel for my first visit to Medan since it is a newly constructed hotel in an excellent location. The Medan train station, two major shopping malls, and a great selection of restaurants are all in walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are spacious and kept immaculately clean. The breakfast buffet has a nice selection of Indonesian and Western cuisine served in a spacious venue. The entire staff at the Grand Central Premier provided outstanding customer service with a warm and friendly demeanor. Of special note, Siska at the front desk provided excellent support and assistance which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again for my next visit to Medan!

"Excellent stay"

An excellent experience with great food from the restaurants, nice and clean room. A very helpful assistant by Ms. Liza and the rest of the staff. Easy access by walking or rides to mall and train stations as well as food outlets. The gym and pool is also very nice.

"Too noisy"

Good hotel, but too noisy since its located next to rail station and they have club on the rooftop. Breakfast was good, 6/10, many choices but tasteless, waiting too long for sunny sideup. Nice and comfy room, nice for 4 star hotel in centre of Medan.

"Nice big hotel with good facilities, close to shopping centres"

The hotel is fairly new compared to the surrounding areas, it’s modern, grand, has good facilities, bar, restaurant, gym etc. the staff we’re helpful and friendly and also accommodating to me cancelling 2 of my 7 rooms that I booked for a large group, free of charge.

The pool was being refurbished so we were unable to use it. The gym machines could not be used at 5-6am in the morning as the power to the room must be turned off during certain hours.
