We had a room directly next to reception and could hear everything even though they we speaking quietly

Good guesthouse. I rented a family room, and it was very spacious. The staff arranged a scooter for me. Breakfast is served in the restaurant opposite the guesthouse. The location is good, close to the market and the Mekong River.

Only one staff member speaks English, and he wasn't always available. No soundproofing; there is a lot of noise during the day starting from the morning. If you need a quieter place, it's better to consider guesthouses that aren’t on the main street but a bit further back. The room was a bit dark. There’s no balcony, but there is a shared terrace. Breakfast is very basic and small; you can choose fried eggs with bread, boiled eggs with bread, scrambled eggs with bread, or one of the local soups.

We had to book this at last minute as our previous hotel had a plumbing problem and no spare room for us. Everything was fine

The staff were very helpful, and the location was good for exploring Luangprabang.

The stairs from the street to the room were a bit challenging for an older person.

I can use hair dryer and hot shower without any problems
