Casa Coral

Casa Coral is in a nice, quiet part of town. The homes are well kept and the only traffic is local — no through traffic, which is nice. The unit’s bathroom was pretty and largely of good taste. There are nice exposed wood beams overhead.

The studio I was given had not been cleaned from the previous guest. I found hair on the sheets and on the pillows, and some kind of droppings and dead ants in the kitchen area. Once I left and reported these issues with photo evidence, the management company refunded my entire booking right away. I’d like to give the owner the benefit of the doubt as to why the unit hadn’t been cleaned. Accidents and misunderstandings happen. For that reason, I have not attached any photos with my review. 1. Be aware that you will be parking in a residential area on a side street that’s at least 1/2 or more blocks from the property, depending on availability. This is because the host’s entire street is resident permit parking only. 2. When renting, you’re required to sign a lengthy legal document that’s separate from Booking.com. Among other things, It requires photos of the front and back of your drivers license, agreeing to a long list of rules, and their right to charge your credit card for anything that violates those rules. 3. Aside from the bathroom, the room has little personality and none of the amenities that make for a nice stay. I realize it’s meant to be an industrial loft, but It has a poor layout and minimal, entry level furnishings. For example: The bed had microfiber sheets that were worn thin and pilled. Toiletries were generic and in a once-sealed hospitality company’s branded box. (My box had been opened.) There were two clean but faded and sad-looking hand towels in the bathroom. I couldn’t find any bath towels. There were no water bottles in the fridge or available nearby. There are two wood-framed armchairs vs a loveseat or a couch, no area rugs or throw pillows that I can recall, and a very small hard plastic dining table with two small hard plastic chairs. The TV was mounted to the wall—but not across from the chairs or viewable from the bed.

The location! And the kitchen and bed were good!

The apartment's door looks old and rotten; it needs to be replaced. Also, the shower was not clean; dirt was between the tiles. And the coffee maker's interior was very dirty. Also, the TV remote had no batteries, I couldn't buy any, so no TV for me.

Le studio était spacieux mais la localisation trop loin du centre ville. L'appartement est bien décoré.

Des CAFARDS dans la maison, des THERMITES au plafond avec des déjections qui tombent sur le lit. Malgré le fait que j'ai informé le propriétaire, il m'a dit qu'une inspection des pestes serait faite mais rien n'a été fait en 10 jours de séjour !! Je n'ai été remboursé que de 100$ sur un séjour à plus de 1800$ et le propriétaire ne me répond plus !! Très mauvaise expérience pour ma part, je déconseille fortement.

Es gab nur 2 Handtücher und es wurde eine Kaution gefordert, die mich sehr unter Druck gesetzt hat.Ich wurde dann mit sehr vielen oft selben Inhalts Nachrichten angeschrieben.

Foi realmente fácil parar o carro próximo ao local, na rua de graça - algo diferenciado em Miami. A rua da esquina já permite parar e sempre há vaga. Equipamentos de cozinha eram bons, apesar de ser apenas um Cooktop com duas bocas! Achei o custo bom comparado com demais opções que avaliei na época.

De forma geral achei uma experiência ruim, mas pelo preço é preciso ponderar se vc está disposto a passar por isso. Pós fato estou ok de ter ficado lá, mas sabendo dos pontos teria pago mais para ficar em um lugar melhor. 1. Assim que vc faz a reserva te mandam msg pelo whatsapp pedindo para completar um registro por um outro site que inclui até autenticação facial (que achei um absurdo já). Nesse mesmo site te fazem assinar um contrato de aluguel com várias regras diferentes das do booking (não tive nenhum problema, mas me senti desamparado caso algo acontecesse e precisasse disputar isso com o local dado que foi solicitado isso por fora da plataforma). Se recusaram a enviar essa solicitação pelo booking (obvio, pois vai contra as regras do booking fazer isso). 2. Exigiram um depósito calção de 500$ ou uma taxa diária não reembolsável de 10$ por dia, através dessa plataforma, e vc tem que pagar antes de ir ou não te passam as informações de check in. Mais uma vez além do absurdo da cobrança, fica o receio de estar desamparado pelo booking por ser algo fora da plataforma. No meu caso deu tudo certo e devolveram o dinheiro. 3. Passaram as informações de check in, mas quando cheguei a senha da fechadura não estava correta. O whatsapp não respondia e o número pelo whatsapp não aceitava chamada. Minha sorte é que meu plano permitia ligações internacionais e com isso consegui ligar. Após umas 3 tentativas ligando me responderam pelo whatsapp para tentar uma outra senha. Isso tudo durou uns 15minutos na porta, então nada demais - mas apenas pq eu tinha como ligar. Se não tivesse não sei como seria resolvido. 4. O quarto não tem circulação de ar. Todas janelas são vedadas, inclusive no banheiro. Isso gera um problema de mofo (ficamos 7 dias e o mofo q tem no teto do banheiro aumentou mto!!!!). Além disso, o único "armário" do quarto fica dentro do banheiro (é um cabideiro apenas) - como não tem circulação de ar, toda a roupa fica molhada..
