Amazing location, nicely refurbished castle, attention to details. Staff has helped with my requests before and during the stay.

I didn’t like the cuisine of the restaurant, sometime too salty, I would have expected a better level.

A stunning and beautiful place. Sympathetically restored, leaving older areas to be seen. Wonderful views from the Junior suite overlooking the countryside. Attentive staff. Lovely breafast selection. A magnificent dinner from the chef, perfect in every way with the delicate tastes from the herb garden, very creative. Thank you to all the staff.

There were things we felt needed attention, but l prefer to write to the property personally, we need a chance to change or correct things, having our own accommodation ourselves, we know the challenges.

Location excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Dinner was magnificent and a good wine selection.

The outside chairs could be more comfortable - only benches available on some of the patios.

The staff was incredible and helpful and the location and food superb. Despite dietary restrictions, the chef created stellar food!

staying in an 11 century castle with the comfort of 2022 - what’s not to like? beautiful authentic castle with incredible attention to details mind-blowing view soundproofing / coffee machine / room was pleasantly warm / netflix / bathrobes / lovely dinner

The building is beautiful, the room was amazing and a really beautiful experience. we were not informed about any Spa although I read it had…not sure if it still exists. The dinner room is beautiful.

Awesome & Inspiring architectural renovation whilst maintaining some of the original derelict building look on the outside. So many clever features to create a very cosy warm airy bright modern contemporary feel yet still retain the period features. Definitely a place worth taking a slight detour to stay at. Breakfast was plentiful and appealing to a certain pallet although some may hope for fresh pastries etc.

Car Parking is not guaranteed and the options may not be to everyone's expectations. A muddle over our reservation due to an internal oversight by the reception team but that was promptly resolved and our room ultimately exceeded our expectations.

What a great place to stay! The hotel is very well renovated and the atmosphere is really fantastic. The rooms are very nice and the food and breakfast is great. Staff is very friendly!
