VESTA - Cairo Festival City Residence

- The location was peaceful with minimal street noise. - It's very close to the Cairo Festival City (CFC) Mall. - The area is accessible via almost all food delivery apps, which is a significant advantage. - Free parking is available within the compound. - There’s a hypermarket nearby, making it convenient to get groceries and essentials that are not provided in the apartment (such as toilet paper, kitchen towels, and cleaning supplies). - The apartment furniture, although basic, was satisfactory. - I really appreciated the complimentary connectivity services offered. - The late checkout option was greatly appreciated.

- The apartment unit was not clean and had faulty air conditioning when I arrived, making the night very uncomfortable after a long flight. - We had to change apartments twice to find a decent alternative with functioning ACs, which still required "deep cleaning" the next day. - Although the Vesta host was courteous and acknowledged the service failure by offering an extra five complimentary days, the situation was frustrating during the first few days of my stay. - I was disappointed that we had to pay for changing bed sheets, servicing, and cleaning. - I experienced significant difficulties entering the premises during the first half of my stay, as the security personnel at the compound gates were unprepared with the necessary permits for my entry, and threatened that I may have to park outside the compound the next day. - While there is a clubhouse at the Festival Living compound, Vesta does not control access to it. Fortunately, there is a very nice gymnasium "FitHub" right outside the compound. However, you'll have to pay a subscription during your stay to access it. - I found the security guards in our building to be quite passive, providing little support or assistance such as offering to help with carrying our groceries and supplies or even open the door to the building that require a pass card. - Regrettably, we had very loud non courteous neighbors who slammed doors and were disruptive in the hallways late at night; despite raising complaints to Vesta, there was no resolution. - There was a lack of coordination with me regarding the weekly "light apartment" cleaning, as the cleaning staff would often arrive unexpectedly, and we had to turn them away because we weren't ready to receive them. - Additionally, there were ongoing construction and maintenance activities in other apartments during my stay, which were quite disruptive.

تجربة سيئة للغاية وغير مقبولة إطلاقًا. ما حدث ليس خطأً عاديًا… وليس سوء تنسيق بسيط… وليس ظرفًا طارئًا، بل إهمال كامل وعدم مبالاة واضحة بالضيف. قبل الوصول تم التواصل معي عبر الواتساب من رقم بريطاني يبدأ بـ (+44)، وتم إرسال جميع التفاصيل لي، بما فيها: - الرقم السري للدخول. - اسم شبكة الواي فاي وكلمة المرور. - رقم الوحدة داخل المجمع. - عبارات ترحيب وتأكيد بأن كل شيء جاهز لاستقبالي في الشقة الواقعة داخل مجمع سكني. كما زوّدني موقع Booking برقم جوال مصري إضافي للتواصل. لكن عند الوصول إلى بوابة المجمع كانت الصدمة: لا يوجد أي تصريح باسمي، ولا يوجد أي تسجيل لدخولي أصلًا. انتظرت أمام البوابة ما بين 4 إلى 5 ساعات بعد رحلة سفر طويلة، وخلال هذه المدة: - تم الاتصال بالرقم البريطاني مرارًا دون أي رد. - تم الاتصال برقم الجوال المصري دون أي رد. - جميع رسائل الواتساب لم يُجب عليها أحد إطلاقًا. في النهاية اضطررت لترك المكان بالكامل، والبحث عن فندق آخر والنوم فيه بعد عناء شديد. السؤال الحقيقي: ماذا لو كانت عائلة؟ ماذا لو كان معهم أطفال أو كبار سن أو مرضى؟ الحمد لله أني كنت بمفردي وتمكنت من التصرف، لكن ماذا لو لم تتوفر فنادق؟ ماذا لو بقيت عائلة كاملة عالقة لساعات بلا مأوى؟ الموقع صعب الوصول أصلًا والعنوان غير واضح، ثم يُترك الضيف بهذا الشكل دون أي مسؤول أو أي تواصل. هذا ليس خللًا عابرًا، بل سوء إدارة فادح واستهتار حقيقي بالضيوف، والمؤسف أن ما ورد في التعليقات السابقة عن ضعف التواصل تكرر حرفيًا، ما يدل أن المشكلة مستمرة دون أي معالجة. تجربة غير احترافية إطلاقًا، ولا أنصح بها.

The flat is just behind IKEA at Cairo Festival City mall. There is a gas station and a Starbucks just outside the compound. The rooms are large enough and you don't feel cramped. The internet was strong most of the time. The furniture was mostly newish, my bed was comfortable although it did make some noise when you move. The kitchen is supplied and the pans were not badly damaged. I didn't use the washer but it looked new. The TV was a Samsung about 60 inch.

The shower could use one of those half tub screen enclosures. When you shower the water splashes and soaks the toilet paper. I booked the flat using the pets allowed filter. When I mentioned my small pet to the owners contact, she immediately told me pets were not allowed. I pointed out that pets were mentioned on several web pages as allowed. She got back to me and left me a voice message in Arabic. The message translated that the $300 deposit would be seized if the pet made any damage and that the pat must always be on a leash at the property. I didn't bring the pet since it seemed unwelcome. I also wanted to mention that I have stayed with Vesta in Cairo at least 4 times, maybe more. I don't think a return customer should be subject to a deposit if they have treated the property with respect in the past.

The apartment is truly wonderful and located in a very upscale and secure area. Its proximity to Cairo Festival City Mall is a major advantage, and the security within the complex is excellent, providing a high sense of safety. The unit itself is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would also like to commend the finance team for their professional, helpful, and swift cooperation.

There were two main issues during our stay. First, the location provided on Booking.com was inaccurate, and we were only informed of the correct address after we reached out to Guest Relations. Additionally, we were surprised that there was no proactive communication regarding housekeeping services. Upon inquiring, we discovered that cleaning incurs a separate and relatively high fee, which was not clearly communicated beforehand.
