No dead bolts on door. Room is outdated. Based on previous rating i chose this location. Would not stay here again

My flight into BWI arrived late and I had to learn to operate the GPS using my iPhone in the rental car; so, I arrived very late at the motel.I was greeted with a cheerful smile and a hearty welcome. The room was minimal but clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. It had everything I needed.

Clean room, good staff, nice environment and quiet

The owner Drew was very nice and accommodating but the room was fairly worn down and tired. Everything worked perfectly fine so if you are in a pinch, it may do. It needs a face lift for sure but sometimes it is not always possible to have the funds to do that. I do recommend it for the service.

Unsafe and loud area....car, truck and motorcycle LOUD noises all night. Ants in bathroom and door wouldn't close all the way. AVOID THIS PLACE!

The check in area was a tiny room with a plexiglass window through which the manager handed me a room key and TV remote. He then followed me to my room to "show you how to use the television and lights." I refused his offer, wouldn't allow him to enter the room, and asked him to leave. Later that night a hotel employee unlocked my door and attempted to let himself into my room, again in the guise of "helping me with the TV" despite not having requested assistance. The property was run down, the AC unit was loud, the toilet didn't flush properly, and the staff made me incredibly uncomfortable.

The only reason I stayed here was it had an 8 rating on your site. The super 8 was a 3, but they have minimum standards this dump could not pass. If I hadn't prepaid, I would have stayed elsewhere just seeing this place from the road. We checked in a 3am, and a guy sitting outside his room was telling us that the prison bus dropped him off a few days ago and just left him there. And how unhappy he was about it. The bathroom door had a panel of plywood screwed into it, and the inside looked like someone had made an escape hole with a claw hammer and the owner thought the plywood would keep the gallon of spackle from oozing out the other side. AC sounded like an idling bus and left everything we brought out smelling like a bus stop toilet. The tub was cracked and spackled and painted. It was so gross, I skipped the attraction we came to see to get to the next hotel to shower and bleach my luggage. I blame Expedia for this, that property has no business being on a website at all, much less with an 8 rating. Ask prison bus guy, he'll tell you.
