Alona's Coral Garden Resort (Adult-Only)

A wonderful oasis with friendly and helpful owners and staff.

I stayed for a weekend break from Manila and the resort and its personnel exceeded by far my expectations. The way the bungalows are set up around the pool and mix of palms an other plants gives it a vibe of a nice tropical villa for relaxing. The bungalows are spacious, very clean and give you a feeling of privacy even though they are close together. The pool has a decent size. The people at reception are very helpful and María, Rose and Rich at the bar/restaurant are really nice and will treat you very well. They really made the difference in my stay.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank dafür! Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war super ruhig, und man kann die Zeit hier toll verbringen und genießen. Das Essen im Restaurant ist absolute Spitze und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten einen Bungalow, in den man sich super aufhalten konnte. So viel Platz, super sauber, und toll eingerichtet. Das Bad war riesig. Auch ein eigener Wasserspender war vorhanden! Eine wirklich tolle Location. Vielen Dank dafür an alle!

The staff on the front desk were extremely helpful. They gave us a lot of guidance and help before, during and after our stay. We booked 2 rooms and both were spacious, clean and modern. Both had safes, which is important when so many places want cash and you have passports etc. The pool was very good too. It is walking distance to both the town and the beach (though I wouldn't walk to the beach in the dark). Tricycles can be called in as there is a waiting zone outside. Food and drink in the restaurant was good and good value. Have to go next door for breakfast. It was very good, so not a complaint, just good to know.

There was some extra processes on the initial payment as they don't take credit card for the room booking. Not complicated but depending on your alternative method that can add to the costs.

Very quiet and well-maintained, close to Alona Beach and an easy walk to most of the shops and restaurants. I really appreciate how clean the rooms were, and the attention to detail around the properly.
