The owners were great, nice, and very accommodating, the rooms were every clean and quiet, the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. No complaints what so ever.

Desert Flower Boutique Hotel is one of those rare places that feels like it was truly made with intention. Every corner, from the butterfly-painted breakfast area to the handmade decor gracing the walkway, reflects the owner Jodi’s care, creativity, and commitment to community and sustainability. Room Seven, with its private hot tub and patio twinkling under string lights, was the perfect blend of comfort and charm. One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to a warm, sunny breakfast room filled with natural light, cozy pillows, and the most unforgettable blueberry muffin I’ve ever tasted. Seriously, as a lifelong foodie and muffin lover, I’m still dreaming about it. The peaceful space, paired with fresh tea or coffee, made it feel like home with a touch of magic. Jodi went above and beyond, even after hours, to make sure we got in safely and had everything we needed. He greeted us the next morning with warmth, conversation, and a sense of hospitality that made us feel instantly welcomed and genuinely cared for. This isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience. One built on thoughtful design, soulful touches, and authentic connection. If you’re someone who values intentional spaces, meaningful details, and a heartfelt stay, you’ll be so glad you found Desert Flower.

This was our third time staying at the Desert Flower and every time has been special. Each room has a different, thoughtfully curated theme. One of the many highlights is the breakfast and blueberry muffins that they make fresh each morning. The property is convenient, beautiful, and well-maintained. The owners are also very personable and welcoming.

The stay was amazing. Located just outside of Taos proper. You get Taos without the crowds. It has a great view of the mountains.

Wonderful updated boutique motel. I had the room with the private hot tub and it was wonderful! Very cozy and comfortable room and setting. Hosts are nice, the breakfast (separate charge) was delicious. Close to Taos but out of the main area. Definitely would stay again!

We absolutely loved this hotel on line. There has been a ton of effort put into this hotel. It was very clean. Our room was also very small and lacking some basics like outlets close to the bed. I also am not a fan of contactless check in. I much prefer to meet the locals so they can steer me in the right direction for amazing offerings in the area. A for effort B+ for delivery

Jody and family are very dedicated, they treat their guests incredibly. They did wonders with this boutique hotel. The rooms are comfortable and isolate noise quite well. The mattresses are excellent for a good rest. Excellent home made breakfast! The blueberry muffin is the best I had in my life! ubicaciónIt is very well located, very close to Taos and close to the ski valley.
