Desert Flower Boutique Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this true gem of a hotel. My room was not only adorable, but it was spotless. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the linens felt luxurious. The location was also ideal. We were able to grab things we needed at the Walmart just a few minutes away and it was about 30-40 min to Skiing at both Sipapu and Taos Ski Valley. The food at the hotel was also absolutely delicious. Our breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, and you could taste the love and attention to detail. My luggage was misplaced by the airline and it was being delivered during a time when we had plans they stepped in to help me facilitate the safe handling and delivery of my luggage. They went above and beyond to help. They truly care about their guests!

This was a wonderful experience!!! Quality amenities, a cozy room, perfect location, and a breakfast to die for!!! Luxury meets tranquility in Taos. This hotel quickly became one of our favorites. It's a unique experience for a solo or couples getaway! With only 7 rooms on the premises it's not too crowded and offers privacy. Hosts are friendly, and have put a lot of care and craftsmanship into this beautiful oasis. They are a great wealth of knowledge for the area!! And did I mention they serve some of the best muffins you will ever have. Breakfast options are delicious and included with your stay there is a good selection of options so if you stay several days , you can work through the menu! Our room was cozy and private, with a good heating for those chilly Taos winter nights. Quality linens and beautiful and unique decor have been chosen for each room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious with a walk in shower and of course a copper soaking tub! Fridges are in each room with access to a microwave, seating area, and games in the cafe area. This is definitely a must when staying in Taos it's perfectly located close enough but far enough away you don't get caught up in the congestion of downtown.

Property was clean and organized. Owners had excellent communication and service was very pleasant. Loved the fact that breakfast was included and hospitality was amazing. Will definitely be back and recommend it for your travel if you are skiing near Taos.

From the moment we arrived, we knew that this place was special. Each room is unique, comfortable, and pristine. This is an independently owned gem. Located just outside Taos, it’s quiet, peaceful, and Boho chic. The included breakfast was amazing, and the muffins were irresistible. The owners have worked very hard to establish this boutique hotel as a unique, welcoming place. They have hens that produce the eggs used in the breakfast, they have planted fruit trees and decorated the kitchen, dining room, guest rooms and lobby area with art produced by local artists. The feel of the property is welcoming and organic. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and I wish them great success! I would definitely stay here every time I’m in the area.

The only problem was the floor in the shower was really slick. Almost fell twice. Other than that the experience was great!

Breakfast was delicious and the owners were very attentive. The room was thoughtfully decorated, very clean and comfortable. It was especially nice to stay in small hotel and feel like you received personal attention. I would love to stay there again!

Our stay was very nice. We stayed in the room with the copper tub. It was great for soaking after a rainy day on a rafting trip. I felt like there was plenty space in the "living areas", but the bathroom didn't have a lot of counter space. The breakfast is AMAZING! The blueberry muffins are absolutely delicious and the orderable breakfast is fresh and very tasty. The outside work continues around the hotel, but what they have completed, looks great. I would highly recommend booking a room here.

About 10 minutes from Taos central. Totally remodeled and updated room. Breakfast included. The blueberry muffins are the best!!
