Çookwear needs improvement

The whole place was quite & peaceful

The sliding door to my bedroom could not lock.

Rooms were clean and staff was freindly. Pool was great.

Rooms were a littlele dated. Stove didn't function as expected. Steep incline to entrance was difficulty.

We loved everything, place,price,staff and the area was beautiful. Everything within walking distance from this resort!!! Can't wait to come again.

Didnt like??? There's no way you could find anything you didn't like !!!

Will definitely stay here again.

The indoor pool and hot tub was good. That’s about it.

The main problem was the lack of cleanliness. We truly wish we picked a regular cheap hotel over this. This was our first vacation in about 6 years and this was just a little two night trip not far from where we live. I thought it was too good to be true and I was right. It felt like we stayed in an old abandoned house that hadn’t been stepped in for years. The walk up the (very old and rickety) stairs to the loft was covered in huge spiders and we had to duck around the spider webs we could barely see bc there were no lights. Once in the room, it looked like it had been cleaned a long time ago, we didn’t dare touch a towel and took all bed covers off and used what we (thankfully!) brought just in case. The washing machine (that is “available to guests”) we didn’t go near because it was in the rickety spider filled unlit hallway with the stairs like something out of a horror movie. The furniture was all dusty and VERY old, literally felt like sitting on springs even after moving the cushions around. We pulled the couch away from the wall to be closer to the tv, only to uncover all the dead bugs that were under the couch. Besides the dirtiness, the drive up the hill to the buildings was INSANELY steep, our little car almost didn’t make it up at the very top because there is a very sharp turn on a narrow one lane road with a drop off to one side and the building to the other. It was horrifying. Then we tried to go down the other side to leave, and it was so steep you couldn’t see the road in front of you, and it’s also in a curve with a drop off to the side. I left a bag in the room and we didn’t want to try to get the car up that hill again with the kids in it, so I walked while they waited at the bottom and it was so steep I could almost crawl up it. Idk how that’s a legal drive, but I suppose it is private property. Other than that the pool was fine, the kids had fun in it and the hot tub, view wasn’t bad if you like trees and mountains.
