The apartment itself was good, it was clean but run down with a damp smell in the bathroom.

The communal area as in the stairs was absolutely filthy with visible dirt on the stairs. There was no sign on the outside and when we rang the proprietor they didn’t answer for 10 mins. We had my 86 year old mother in law with us after a 4 hour journey. He had sent the details of how to get in to our landline at home by text. Obviously we didn’t receive it. There was no tea or coffee available in the kitchen.

The facilities in the apartment were great and suited our requirements.

Parking was a little tight but ok.

Beautiful apartment, tastefully furnished. Central to all local amenities.

Nothing, It was perfect for a relaxing break away. Only wish we had booked a few extra days!

location in the centre of cockermouth. secure parking. heating and hot water good. good communication with owner.

it looked tired. lacked kitchen consumables, some equipment needed replacing. worn out knifes and frying pans.
