"Apartment in great location."

Loved the location just back from Cockermouth main st. It was quiet and easy to walk through to the shops. There is an amazing butcher which backs on to the apartment. The unit has most things one needs for self catering. Basic but available. It is a great base for walks and tours around the Lake District. The Cumberland sausage from the butcher is superb. There is parking on site which is a bonus. Access is interesting to say the least. Big cars will be challenged. Done once it becomes easier. Oh have I mentioned the butcher?

The bed is a bit soft for our liking. The sheets were not really a good fit and easily came off the mattress making sleeping somewhat lumpy.

Second visit here different appartment to last time .cant fault them home from home Wi fi great streamed newcastle match live no issues you are right on the river here and next to all shops and pubs. will be returning next year

"A nice apartment that was let down by poor levels of maintenance!"

It was a excellent location with private parking & the apartment was fairly comfortable.

The apartment was not cleaned to a good standard & was clearly not checked by the owner. There were lots of little 'niggles' too numerous to mention but a few highlights would be a flat sheet on the bed instead of a fitted sheet which was too small so we always ended up sleeping on the mattress which was a bit stained & had no mattress protector: a grubby fridge & microwave: utensils, pots & pans that had to be washed before use. From a safety point of view; the bath/shower had no antislip mat & no grab rails. We both nearly went over a couple of times!
