Wordsworth Apartment Irene court

Very close to shops/bars/restaurants and some walks starting from Cockermouth. The apartment also had dedicated parking which, for us, was really important.

Looked a little tired in places. Would benefit from a few prints/pictures to brighten it up a little. A second lamp in the double bedroom, a must. Change to fitted sheets, MUCH better than the ones used. A guide on how to use some of the appliances. More toilet roll. One of the photos of the apartment showed the coffee machine with pods, there weren’t any pods when we arrived. Would have been a nice touch. Some basics like salt & pepper would also have been appreciated. Something that sounded like a generator outside coming on in the early hours?

The bed was too soft, the shower dip all the time.

Great location, although a little difficult to find at first. Everything we needed was there and it’s a great base for exploring the Lake District.

Lovely place. Lots of nice little touches - shampoo, shower stuff, hand soap, washing up liquid etc etc all the things you forget to pack. Everything you would possibly need for a break/stay away from home. Clean and tidy, lovely rooms. Very close to the high street shops, pubs, take aways. You can tell that the owners take good care of the place. Excellent communication from owner also on directions and access instructions. Would recommend.
