The Kailas Ubud

The property has a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and oven, as well as two bathrooms, which made the stay convenient. Its location is excellent, only about a 10-minute walk from Ubud Center, making it easy to explore the area on foot.

There is significant construction activity nearby, and the noise from grinding can be frequent and disruptive. Additionally, some construction workers have visibility into the property from higher angles, which affects privacy. The access road is very narrow, making it challenging for cars to pass, often leading to vehicles meeting face-to-face without enough space.

Het personeel was steeds heel erg vriendelijk! De locatie is top, op wandelafstand van de hoofdstraat maar toch rustig gelegen.

Doordat het hotel in een smal straatje is, willen sommige taxichauffeurs er niet in rijden. Echter, als ze een beetje moeite doen lukt het wel!

- Nice and clean house. - Spacious. - Hot water, though limited.

- The construction work next to our villa made it impossible to sleep past 7:30 am. We were told it would start at 8, but the noises began much earlier. - The staff was rude and had an inappropriate behavior, which was the main issue we had with the place. On several occasions, a staff member entered our villa without asking, even when we were present. One time, I was not dressed (I’m a woman, and the staff were men). He saw me and instead of apologising and turning back, he proceeded to enter the same room as I was and clean our breakfast. I had to run to the nearest bathroom to hide and cover myself. We complained to management about the incident, and it was very shocking. - You have to choose your breakfast menu and time a day in advance, which is not convenient. On top of that, the staff brought us the breakfast earlier than what we asked and stamped on the door, waking us up. - They recommended a tour guide for an excursion that was not only more expensive than what we saw in town but also not very good.

Great facilities, great location and amazing staff. The team went above and beyond for our honeymoon and even helped us celebrate my wife’s birthday!

La maison était magnifique et parfaitement équipée. Le personnel est aux petits soins et vraiment très sympathique.

Le petit déjeuner est un peu redondant lorsque l’on reste plusieurs jours. Il n’y a pas assez de pression dans la douche.

Villa was fantastic. Nice and clean and lots of room. Great friendly staff.

The front gate of our Villa was broken and you could not lock it! That was a bit annoying but it is staffed until 11-30pm at night! The road to get there is a bit dodgy but that’s Ubud!
