The Kailas Ubud

Lovely fluffy white towels, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

The pool was dirty and pavers had mould The shower tiles had black mould also. Tiled stairs to bedroom are steep and narrow. Our unit had a very very old aluminium ( which we just don’t use in nz) kettle to boil water but they did replace it with one slightly better non aluminium one which I appreciated.

The superior villa had recently been upgraded, so the decor was good. The bed was comfortable. Liked the balcony.

The pool needed a really good clean, there was mould around the edges.

The stuffs are super friendly! They cleaned the villa every day for us and everything is in good condition. We loved the breakfasts a lot!

The noise cancellation is a bit weak. I can hear birds singing outside but that would be white noise for others.

It felt like a home away from home but with a down to earth luxury vibe. My son loved the pool and the fact that it was for us only, so him (and us) could enjoy it at any time of the day.

Only regret was the fact that our holidays came to an end and we had to leave our Ubud "home".

Kailas Ubud was so relaxing and secluded. Their private villas were beautiful and inviting you didn’t want to leave. However, It’s located at the end of a very narrow road that makes it very difficult for cars to pass through and makes grab drivers hesitant to come get you.

Het was een mooi ingerichte villa in een prachtige tuin. De staff was echt heel vriendelijk. In de buurt zijn meerdere goede restaurants, als je geen zin hebt het drukke centrum in te gaan.

The villa was stunning, very beautiful inside and super comfortable. Great attention to detail. Great breakfast. Staff helpful but not very chatty.

Hardly any sun! We love the sun but the way the villa is designed the sun goes behind the building.
