Aria

Great place for a family it lives up to what whey show in their pictures, stayed there recently in April. There is an easy access to a clothing stores, pharmacy, groceries, and plenty of quick street vendor food early mornings. the place is clean with and their host will be flexible to leave luggage at place if check later in the afternoon.

The security guard is very. Apparently you can’t lay down on any of the couches, even the ones outside on the top floor. Not sure why they don’t just have signs that say “don’t lay down” on the coaches. We saw other people laying down and the security guard just told us not to do that. Make sure you know the security code, because my mom who doesn’t see very well, couldn’t put in the code and got yelled at by the security guard saying she had to check in. He was there when she left the building to go buy something down the street but he apparently didn’t remember seeing her. Why would a lady come in to this building late at night, by herself to vandalize or steal? She obviously couldn’t remember the password and was having a hard time getting through. Don’t stay here! We talked to someone that said we get a refund for half the cost of our stay, he was supposedly the manager or something. But the next day when tried to tell that lady’s that were at the front of the building said that no one should promised us that because they didn’t know who we were talking about. The security guard never wanted to give us his name, so we took a picture of him and the lady’s that were talking to were questioning us about why we took a picture? We took a photo because we had no other way of explaining who we had an issue with. The people that work here don’t ever want to accept that there’s an issue with security!

I have been a frequent guest at Sonder Arias due to its prime location and excellent amenities. However, my recent stay left me quite disappointed due to a significant inconvenience regarding the laundry services. One of the reasons I chose to stay at Sonder Aria this time was because of the convenient access to a laundry room. Typically, this amenity has been a lifesaver for me, allowing me to pack light and still maintain fresh clothes throughout my stay. Unfortunately, during this visit, I encountered a major setback – the laundry room was out of service due to water issues. Despite attempting to use the facility on multiple occasions during my stay, I was informed each time that it was not operational. This unexpected turn of events left me in a frustrating situation, as I had packed light with the assumption that I could rely on the laundry services provided. While I understand that maintenance issues can arise unexpectedly, I believe it is essential for guests to be informed of such disruptions beforehand. It would have been greatly appreciated if Sonder Aria had notified me prior to my arrival about the unavailability of the laundry facilities. This would have allowed me to make alternative arrangements and properly prepare for my stay. Overall, while I continue to appreciate the location and other amenities offered by Sonder Aria, the lack of functioning laundry services significantly impacted my experience. This is a cool venue if you are not looking for hotel restaurant and lobby vibe. Each room is large like an apartment style with a kitchen, small living room, bath and bedroom. I was there for a long event and it felt very homey.

Property wise not bad, but the whole check in process is shamefully wrong. They ask you to “check in in advance” and give you your gate code via email, and they charge you in advance for the parking, code didn’t work we had to wait at the gate for about 45 minute’s unable to get in, even if we went in and ask why our code didn’t work, and the gate keeper told me that we hadn’t paid the parking, which was a lie, then they spent some time trying to enable the code, but it didn’t work, so they let us in into the garage, which they could have done as soon as they identified us, but they didn’t. Then when we got to our room the stupid code didn’t work either, and we had to wait another 15 minutes until someone came up to unlock the door. That was day one, we had rented the property for three nights, and the second day happened the same, we couldn’t get in the garage, and same routine as mentioned above, and same happened with the room code. We had to wait another 15 minutes till someone went up to unlock the room. We decided to cut short our stay because it is very hard for anyone to go through this ordeal every time you get to your rental place, specially if you have a bladder problem which it happens I have. I requested a refund of the unused nights and explained why we left, but of course nobody answered my request, as if you are talking to the wind. Of course I do not recommend this property at all to no one, specially if you have bladder problems or anything like that.
