CHANDYS WINDY WOODS

We stayed at Chandey’s Wood Windys, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The stay was excellent, with a calm and beautiful ambiance. All the facilities were amazing and thoughtfully maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and neat behaviour. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place.

Service was great For food we had special request of non veg and Swaminarayan food Thy accommodated us with special food they made anything we requested I recommend this very well Very nice customer service

Firstly the good stuff! The front desk manager and guest relations were very helpful and professional. We were quickly escorted to our room which had a fabulous view over tea plantations and was of a high quality. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant every day. The food was pretty good but we didn’t think it was quite 5 star quality. For example they have little paper sachets of salt and pepper rather than a proper salt and pepper grinder on the table. The restaurant staff were lovely and tried their best to accommodate our every request promptly. We went to the hotels “Happy hour” every day but most days we were the only guests! Not really a very good Happy Hour as the discount on beer was poor. The offer was if you bought one bottle of wine you got a free beer, so if you are only a beer drinker no discount! Also, we noticed some of the waiters uniforms were badly soiled, which isn’t really acceptable when you are serving food. We thought perhaps the waiters may only have been allocated one waistcoat and had not had time to wash them in between shifts? It’s a shame as they were so kind and deserve better from the managers who should provide them with clean uniforms! These matters were very small issues on the whole and we enjoyed our stay.
