Tbh after reading some of the reviews I wasn't expecting much .But the cottage was everything what I first thought it to be be cosy the dogs could go outside and do their business ,beds were very comfy and couldn't of asked for a better placed stay . Yes the floors are tired but that's the charm of the place .

The bath tap needs attention lol it sprays and will go beyond the bath so be careful 🧐

Perfect location and a lovely house

Boiler broke , had to spend the night keep putting pressure in to heat the house . Washing machine flooded kitchen, found mop , but bucket, it was hidden under Christmas tree under stairs with no light to actually see it . Garden ( well what garden )

"Great holiday over Christmas and with a couple of tweaks could have been perfect."

7.0

Excellent location and lovely character.

The TV wasn’t working due an aerial problem which was disappointing over Christmas. The boiler kept losing pressure when switched off. The mattress in the top bedroom needs replacing.

"A cosy cottage perfect for a winter break."

10.0

It was warm and cosy. The location is excellent, really close to the beach and the cafes and shops. It was very clean with lovely white sheets and comfortable beds. Parking is available and conveniently close by- just down the road. There is a garden at the back of the house with a view of the sea.

"Would not recommend due to cleanliness and uncomfortable beds."

4.0

Location was good, close to village and beach.

The floors and living room rug downstairs had not been hoovered, covered in crumbs, hairs and fluff. Kitchen table also not clean. No stool/chair for using dressing table Beds were uncomfortable! Could feel the springs!

"Passable"

5.0

Lovely location - within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Having a parking space was a real bonus.

The property isn't high end in regards to money but that shouldn't matter to cleanliness and extra facilities offered. It could be a lovely budget property but would need an effort to be made.

The property was adequate for six people, decent size. It was virtually spotless. The accomodation contact points was excellent, listening to the problemes we reported

Where to start? 1. Hot and cold taps wrong way round. Our niece burnt herself; she selected the cold tap but it was boiling hot. 2. Upstairs bathroom door creaked which was disturbing/ could wake you up (will break soon). 3. Bathroom tap beware! It shoots out fast and over back-end of the bath! 4. Bathroom shelf had three shelves, but only two shelf supports on each, which meant they could not stay on if you put anything on them, So I removed one shelf putting 4 supports(think this is not worth reporting (please see summary at the bottom). 5. First bedroom on the left had a glass door; could not be opened due to health and safety(too be fair the outside area could be dangerous). Why not replace with a locked door with a window, because it was so hot and stuffy and my niece asthma suffered as a result.Nothing done when first reported, but the second time they did provide a fan 6. Second bedroom the window was very hard to shut. So you had traffic noise outside, but also sooner or later this will break and the holiday maker might be charged for negligence when in fact it would be as a result of it not being fixed 7. The kitchen, probably washing machine, had a leak, cleary not a recent event. 8. The use of the washing mahine is virtually a waste of time, There is no facility outisde or inside to dry your clothes if you washed them nor twopwell and swimming ciostumes after you used the, 9. Stove needs manual lighting;it is modern so suspect a fuse needs replacing. Two lighters provided to resolve this did not work so we had to go out and buy a lighter. 10. The small cupboard door scrapes on the floor (sooner or later this will break and the holiday maker might be charged for negligence when in fact it would be as a result of it not being fixed) 11. No broom or vacuum cleaner property (you are asked to clean before you leave, down on knees with dustpan In summary no inventory no checks being made. Negligent, guests may be blamed for damaged or lost inventory
