It had a TV, kept the rain off my head and my car didn't get stolen despite all the indicators that it likely would.

The Motel That Time (and Basic Decency) Forgot If Dante's Inferno had a 10th circle, it would be this hotel. This is not a place you book; it’s a punishment you endure. Calling it a "hotel" is an insult to actual hotels. It’s a crime scene with a front desk wisely kept a mile away. First, the staff. Imagine the DMV, but less helpful. They don’t just fail at customer service—they actively resent your existence. Every interaction felt like I’d interrupted their mission to do absolutely nothing. Scam artists might be too generous a term; even con men put in more effort. Now, the room. Chairs with no backs? Why not just call them stools and move on? The pillows had such threadbare, see-through cases that I could play "Spot the Stain" through them—and there were plenty to spot. Cobwebs decorated the corners like some sort of haunted house chic. The tiles were an assault on the senses: a psychedelic 70s fever dream that even the ceiling was wise enough to avoid. The website photos? Lies, all of them. The parking lot looks like a junkyard reunion. I half-expected to see a mechanic offering to sell me a questionable catalytic converter. There were literal oil puddles from broken-down cars, which, judging by the clientele, might also double as accommodations. Speaking of which, the area outside was like walking into a horror movie that you know doesn’t end well. Drug use? Check. Industrial noise? Double check. A general sense of dread and regret? You better believe it. I had to empty my car of every last item to avoid it becoming an involuntary charity donation. Honestly, the car might have been safer sleeping in the room with me. Do yourself a favor. Spend the extra $10, heck, the extra $50. Sleep in your car if you have to. Anything is better than this dump. This isn’t just a bad hotel—it’s a cautionary tale. Save yourself.

Cheap, good aircon

Long time for the shower to get hot, hairs on the sheet, no coffee machine or ability to boil water, noisy (train, hwy, visitors), tv was stuck on one channel (same for our neighbours, too). I know it's cheap but we've stayed in plenty of hotels that were better value for money, some even cheaper.

Almost nothing

The heat wouldn’t turn on, and the shower head had zero pressure.

It was not that far from the historic district but you need a car to get to the nicest places. It is located near the port

It didn’t have hairdryer, the air conditioner is super noisy, the parking is next to your windows and anytime a car arrives or leaves it wakes you up, the shower is tiny, it didn’t have coffee, the pillows were uncomfortable and old and the room wasn’t clean enough

Clean, comfortable and we loved the retro vibes. The gentleman that got us our key was very polite. We also enjoyed the trains, there was two that went through between 4:30 pm and 9am and you could barely hear them in the room.

The only issue we had was the tv not switching channels, they offered to switch rooms for us but it wasn’t a big enough problem to go through all that.

Very disappointed. You get what you pay for...
