"Beyond expectation"

I've been to a few places by now, but this blew my mind. The peaceful spot inmidst of nature and castles is super special! To watch the sunset from the pool was great! And my room was very comfortable with a little balcony with view to a fairytale-like looking castle. You can get great homecooked meals and drinks in the evening, wich is super comfortable if you don't want to go all the way to the city center. The breakfast is wonderful too, Armie the lovely chef and fairy of the house bakes a new cake every day. Even the tap water tastes really good! You see - I will come back!

A wonderful and very friendly welcome with complimentary drink and cake. Beautiful decor throughout and a lovely terrace to take in views of the Pena Palace. Lots of helpful recommendations on how to get around Sintra and a delicious and very good value 3 course supper was available for an extra fee and excellent breakfast selections on offer. Everything you needed in a comfortable bedroom with a very modern and up-to-date bathroom.

Couldn't fault this stay. It was perfect.

Beautiful grounds, excellent breakfast options, we had dinner there which we all enjoyed by a friendly Filipino chef. Everything we could ask for in the apartment.

Slightly disappointed that the pool wasn't open due to repairs.

the place was perfect. we were welcomed by armie, who helped us find the place, by cake and juice. food was incredible, highly recommend having dinner there. the location is nestled in a hilltop towards the castles, with a perfect view of moorish castle and pena palace. regarding the location, it was about a 15 minute walk down a hill or path into sintra city, and a steep climb up to the castles (30 minutes). if walking is a problem, there are taxis. the location feels like a fairytale land -- beautiful and quiet, in the woods away from the crowds of sintra. comfy beds, everything new and up to date. look no further for a luxury stay in sintra.
