Host was very friendly. Excellent property with lovely natural pool. Host was very flexible when we had to extend our stay due to Hurricane Beryl.

Everything was perfect the owner is friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable, kitchen was equipped with everything that we need and we felt like home. Location is good on a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the city center in quite neighborhood. The pool was nice and cool us perfectly, as when we were there it was 42 degrees. Breakfast was good with a typical for the region Cochinita Pibil sandwiches and fresh orange juice.

We faced some difficulties to find the place, as the entrance door where good locked anyway the owner where so kind and navigate us, so no big deal at all. (We were tired and we were dying of the heat, so that also helps us to loose our coordination ;d) It will be good, if there is a sign with the name written in booking :)

We travelled to a few cities in the Yucatan peninsula and were excited to stay in Merida. The property was so lovely. The pool was refreshing, the pool house was quiet and spacious. We truly enjoyed staying there. Jose was a fantastic host and made excellent breakfasts. He was very responsive and helpful. We weren’t quite sure what we wanted to see while there and he gave us some great ideas about things to do and see while there. The property has a lot of plants and so you feel like you are in a different world when you come in from the streets. The pool is reminiscent of the Cenotes, and has a feel that it is a natural body. We mused how cool it would be if they painted the bottom so that it felt even more like the Cenotes. The bed was super comfy and the room and a kitchenette and a living area. We didn’t use the kitchen but if you were cooking there is quite a bit of room to move around in.

The only think I can think of is that the room is a little bright at night. We were so tired it didn’t bother us too much but if you need a completely dark space to sleep I would recommend that you bring some eye masks. The location was not quite what we expected. We were anticipating to walk everywhere, but it was so hot that we came to the conclusion very quickly that that was unrealistic. The positive is that Didi car, taxis, the bus, and shuttles are everywhere. Jose graciously helped us work that out. Options are much more prevalent than the US and much easier to use so we quickly adjusted. It was such a great place we would love to stay again :)

It is like a little oasis!

The best thing about the hotel was the host Pepe who was so friendly and quick to fix whatever needed fixing. He also had some great recommendations for places to visit in Mérida. The breakfast every morning made by him was really great.

The hotel itself and the pool could need an update and it would have been nice to have the access to water mentioned in the welcome book in the room. Also the fridge was off and quite dirty when we arrived, but Pepe came quickly and cleaned it.

Hidden gem about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Merida. We had a really beautiful room with seating area. Lovely garden and small pool. We found some nice restaurants and bars close by.

The hotel is very tastefully decorated and has a fantastic garden. The amenities they provide in the rooms are very thought of : many different towels, their own shampoo (which my hair LOVED) and soap, a big closet, mosquito nets. The rooms are spacious. We also received a very tasty breakfast made by the host, it wasn’t just generic toast-and-jam breakfast. The host is exceptionally helpful and generous. Thank you for the stay! 💚
