Naya Bacalar Hotel

The staff took great care of us, the complex is small so it is intimate but at the same time the infrastructure allows you to meet others and talk with other customers and share experiences not to be missed in Bacalar. The yoga classes are great and suitable for all levels, especially for the first time. The lunch is excellent and varied, yes there are not a thousand choices but it is cooked a la minute especially for you so it remains very flexible and these are details that make the experience unique and made for you. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well thought out. It had everything we needed, even mosquito spray. It was a beautiful stay !

Maybe it's far from Bacalar Centro and you can't get around without a car. But if you don't have one the staff is really helpful and can organize your transportation with local cabs. However if you're looking for peaceful place it's not a probleme.

What a beauty of a place. 10 min drive to town, the huge bungalows are designed with quality in mind. Huge, super comfortable beds, outdoor shower (with infrared light to not attract mosquitoes) but indoor toilet, the most comfortable hammock i've experienced, and a 'private' garden. Amazing calm music at reception and the restaurant. Loved staying here. All the staff were very friendly. Top ups of flavoured water (cucumber/orange infused). And within a 2-3 mins walk you have an almost private entrance to the incredible lake, where you can rent SUPs or canoes. Will definitely return.
