Staff were excellent, nice rooms, great atmosphere. Free shuttle to take you into the main city area, too. Breakfast was also easy above average in taste and quality. Feels like a lot of details were thoughtfully considered in providing for an exceptional stay. Also has a turtle sanctuary 🐢

We have been traveling for 4 weeks in Southeast Asia and among all the 4-5 star hotels we have stay, this is the best. Great attention; super serene and calm atmosphere; great food; superb room.

This was our first trip to Luang Prabang and we just cannot express what an incredible time we had here staying at MyBanLao Hotel. We were here for 10 days and from the moment we got here until the time we left the staff and the service was just incredible. Our backdoor to our room stepped right into the pool with two private chairs and table waiting for us. The hotel employees went out of their way to accommodate our every need. My spouse has a disability and they provided a wheelchair for our use at no charge, gave us rides to restaurants and tours when needed and as I was celebrating my 60th birthday they surprised me with a custom-made birthday cake with the staff singing happy birthday to me. Such warm, friendly and sincere employees made our stay here a memory I will never forget and the 90-minute couples massage at their spa was one of the best I have had. I travel a lot and been all around the world, this hotel is truly a 5-star experience. If you are coming to Laos, don’t miss this superb hotel. Friendly welcome to My Ban Lao with a cold towel and drink. The pool and gardens are spectacular. Pool bar accessible without getting wet if that’s your preference. The gym and spa areas are also very nice. Our room was spacious but very dark, which was a shame as we had no verandah outside our room to sit at - unless you want to sit in the general walkway. The colonial windows are attractive, but don’t allow much natural light into the room and again some of those look over the walkway so had to be kept closed. Bed was firm, nice linen and towels, bar fridge and kettle included in the room. Great that they offer water refill in reception and would like to see that advertised in the room so it is utilised more. We had been there a couple of days before we saw it! We hung our towels up every day, but still we were given new ones. Maybe revisit that rule with the housekeeping attendants to remind them that many guests choose to use towels more than once. Breakfast was ok but minimal choices. Shuttle to town was excellent and so reliable. You need What’sApp though.

Having arrived at this breathtaking hotel and being greeted by the wonderful helpful staff. Our room is exceptionally well equipped with one touch electronic controls, beautifully clean and fully equipped even done to the free of charge soft drinks mini bar. Enjoy wonderful cocktails by the swim up pool or a glorious massage in the full dedicated spar facility. The food is delicious and so well presented it makes your mouth water. We have been treated to free courtesy car into the city centre and of course a collection service if you can’t manage the walk back. Come and be spoiled😊

We had a wonderful stay here and the hotel is beautiful. Room was great and the hotel facilities were amazing as well. The spa and pool was perfect, and the buffet breakfast was great. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a memorable one. I would highly recommend staying here. The best hotel we stayed at whilst traveling Laos!

Amazing!

It’s been an extremely good surprise to find this true gem in Luang Prabang for our last stay in this city. The beautiful hotel is composed of nice 2 floor pavilions surrounding a lagon sized pool. The buildings have been renovated few years ago and keep the charm of past century architecture. The dining room is also nicely decorated and the tables set with inspiration and luxury. The staffed has proved efficiency, satisfying positively all requests shortly and arranging all our tranfers (from the airport, to the market [which is only 10 minutes walk away], to tha caves, etc...) I could not finish this review without congratulations for chef Jeremie who has added perfect dining sessions to our stay. Asian local dishes as well as Western recipies are executed with Grand Art and you should leave space for the deserts ! As you have understood, I recommend to consider MyBanLao for your next stay ;-)

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby, pool, etc. are beautiful. Hotel is also convenient to main street where all the restaurants and sites are.

Absolutely fantastic service! We had a pool view room which was very spacious and a nice place to chill. The pool has a swim up bar. The turtle sanctuary is ok. The food at breakfast was excellent. It’s in walking distance of the night market and all the other restaurants, however the hotel runs its own shuttle so you can easily book a restaurant and they take you there for free and you can just turn up on spec. The staff are just amazing… couldn’t fault the place. And Luang Prabang is awesome.
