I had a very pleasant stay here from the moment Hamza very politely and in a very friendly manner checked as in - to the very end. All the staff are extremely attentive and friendly. The hotel is very clean and very tidy. The food is really good as well and the breakfast is really good with plenty of options

Petra Moon Luxury Hotel (not to be confused with Petra Moon hotel) is beautiful, comfortable and served by very friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Evening meals are taken on the rooftop terrace ( or via room-service) and are very good. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Petra.

It is not service in the sense of servitude—it is service born from pride. Every member of the staff carries themselves with dignity, generosity, and a true joy in sharing their culture. It feels less like being “helped” and more like being welcomed into something beautiful that they are proud to be part of. This pride is contagious, and it reflects perfectly the spirit of Jordan. Although we wished we spoke better Arabic, never once were we made to feel uncomfortable. Every interaction was kind, patient, and understanding. We sincerely wish we could name each person we met, because without exception, they made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are impeccable—spotless floors, soft towels, comfortable beds—and our room offered a breathtaking view of the desert and mountains. You can feel history itself in the landscape. The location could not be more perfect: a short and easy walk to Petra, the museum, the main city, and shuttles that can take you further into the mountains. Truly the best base for exploring this ancient wonder. Both restaurants deserve special mention. Breakfast was a revelation—simple dishes elevated to perfection, from the eggs to the croissants, each prepared with care and excellence. Every plate carried a sense of refinement and authenticity that impressed us greatly. The rooftop is the crown jewel: a perfectly tempered pool, Jacuzzi, stunning views, and a night tea ceremony that feels magical—especially after trekking through Petra. There is no better place to unwind after 12 km in the desert. At Petra Moon Luxury Hotel, we arrived as guests and left as friends. This is not just a place to stay—it is a place that will stay with you.

I had a wonderful stay at Petra Moon Luxury Hotel. The highlight was definitely the Mountain View rooms and breakfast buffet with a omelette and pancake station as well as fresh orange juice and good coffee! The hotel’s location is unbeatable if your main goal is to explore Petra. It’s just a short few minutes walk from the Visitor Center, which makes getting to the Treasury and the main Petra site incredibly convenient, especially for early starts or if you plan to do Petra by night. Service was also exceptional throughout the stay. Staff were friendly, and always ready to assist. I had an early start one morning, before breakfast hours and the staff prepared a breakfast bag for me to go. Overall, a fantastic stay and the perfect base for visiting Petra.

Amazing hotel. It seems quite new. The room was very spacious. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s right next to the entrance to Petra. Great to have the rooftop pool to cool down after we did the hike from Little Petra. Could not fault anything in this hotel. Great stay!

Great location with very good value for money overall. A mere2 mins walk from petra visitor centre. Clean and spacious room with friendly staffs. Breakfast spread was quite impressive.

Petra Moon is a short stroll to primary Petra trail, and is a luxury hotel in the truest sense with pool, gym, great rooms, very friendly staff showcasing the best of Jordanian hospitality. The barbecue rooftop dinner was a highlight.
