The Shrub Lodge

This is a very nice hotel in Victoria Falls, a bit away from the centre, but the area is quiet and safe, the hotel itself is new, rooms are big and modern, very nice bathroom, good size bed, nice swimming pool, very good breakfast and tasty food.

The room was spacious and clean . Bed was extremely comfortable. The Zimbabwe hospitality was exceptional. Staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was exceptional with great food and cooked to order. The pool was inviting and refreshing after a full day.

It can get a bit noisy with the guests in the swimming pool which is very close to the rooms

The staff was wonderful - from front desk, cleaning staff, kitchen staff and drivers. All friendly and very helpful. The property was clean and well maintained.

The cost of transfers into town and the airport was a bit steep. I traveled alone and upon enquiry of certain activities or trips, the price was increased to cover a second person which I found to be bizarre. When I canceled one trip citing InDrive, they were able to match the price of a solo user.

Cucina anche. Ottimo rapporto qualità /prezzo rispetto i prezzi folli di Victoria. Sanno organizzarti escursioni, transfer e serate. Scelta che consiglio!

Lack of consistent internet access, the restaurant had a varied menu but none of it was available, neither was the wine list! Required payment in full one month before arrival!use of credit card for payment incurs an extra charge! Bare plaster walls in bathroom!
