Island View Guesthouse

We loved our 5 nights! So beautiful. Though you definitely need a car, we opted not to drive, because we wanted to drink.

If you need a quiet area for a peaceful mind this is the place for you. I spent 3 days there I felt like I was home. The view is breathtaking where you can explore the city etc…. I will stay there again if I go back to st Thomas. Libby is very nice and great host. The only thing you will need to go out to eat since the restaurant doesn’t open everyday specially during my stay. I can say I enjoyed my stay at island view guest house I hope to seeing you again Libby

Libby greeted us kindly at the front, and spontaneously upgraded us from a simple room to the suite, simply because it was open. The views are amazing and service was above and beyond. Every time we saw Libby or her staff, they made sure to stop and greet us, ensuring all our needs were met. The room was beyond lovely, with one of the most comfortable beds either of us have ever slept in. Everything was clean and tidy, both in the room and out in the surrounding area. Libby was so kind to point us towards other local hotspots. Additionally, on our second night, we dined at the location’s restaurant. Marshall, Libby’s husband, is the chief, and clearly a master of his art. All of the food was divine, among the best I have ever eaten. Compared to meals that I have had across the United States and Canada, this was among the best, hands down. I will happily be referring friends and family to Island View Guest House in the future, both as a place to stay and as the best restaurant on St. Thomas. P.S. they have two local cats that are beyond sweet and adorable.

We want to come back to St Thomas just to stay at Island View Guesthouse again! I am in hospitality and was so impressed by their service. We arrived early and immediately greeted by Marshall. He was very informative and convinced us to invite our fiends for dinner. He is the chef and co-owner of the hotel. His wife Libby happily checked us in early and we were able to get drinks from their honor bar and lay by the pool. Our room was nice and clean and conveniently located across from the pool. They were able to squeeze us in for a late dinner reservation and accommodated our pescatarian friends. Service was impeccable and every dish we ordered was amazing. Our friends were impressed with the food, the view from the veranda and the overall ambiance. Breakfast, coffee and tea are included so we had a nice, quality morning. Food was delicious again. We were able to get a late checkout before heading to the airport so we enjoyed the pool and drinks again on our last day. This is by far the best experience we’ve had in our week stay in the area. We only wish we discovered it sooner and were able to stay longer. Libby and Marshall make you feel like home and we met other nice guests there. We hope we can stay again soon!

This is a lovely place to stay. The service was great! The GPS could not find the place and the receptionist was so gracious and drove to our location so we had a vehicle to follow. Very personal service! Views are fabulous! We highly recommend this quaint Guesthouse!

Me and my husband James loved our stay at Ocean View Guesthouse because we felt like we were staying in Libby and Marshall’s beautiful home - they treated us kindly and with the utmost respect - kudos to the two of them for running such a tight ship especially with their manager Eileen 😊

the property has beautiful views on a nice veranda. Check in was late. The wifi did not work. the pool was small and dirty and the rooms are much smaller than they look online. We went to a different hotel

Wonderful views of the island. I liked the location as it was centric and I could go everywhere at a relatively short distance. The cleanliness of the room and the details were impressive.
