St Ives Bay Beach Resort

Out of season family time. Amazing beach. Great service from the front desk. Lots to do within 45 minutes of the resort. Pubs. Shops. Coves and walks

We had a 'value' unit which was as expected. Nothing to grumble about but certainly no frills. Basic but comfortable bed with adequate bedding etc. Sofa was less so. Quite uncomfortable.

Stayed here a few days partly just over night stop as was doing an exhibition nearby, but also extra days for pleasure. I'd imagine this place is very lively in the main season, but for us it was quiet and convenient. The staff were friendly. Nice beach next to site and easy to get out and about from. We are going back soon!

The campsite was perfectly placed for short drives to so many beautiful places in cornwall. The short walk to the stunning beach was lovely for early morning dog walks. Reception staff were friendly on arrival and pointed us in the right direction for our accommodation as we hadn’t stayed before. However, we had booked a Superior Caravan and felt that the condition of our particular van was not quite up to standard. One of the windows was cracked and stuck with ‘tape’ which wasn’t a good first impression. The interior was comfortable and warm though so this didn’t affect our stay. We just thought that it should be fed back as first impressions count. We will be booking again as we loved the location but will be more aware of the grade of accommodation we book! We had a lovely relaxing short stay to finish off the October half term.

Came away with the 3 grandkids for a few nights perfect base to head out and explore

Cheap and cheerful- did what it promised.

Not eco friendly. Could advertise it more and have bins for recycling as it is a very big resort.

Shower needed a deep clean

We booked two rooms but had two chalets , when we could have just had one! One chalet smelt very strongly of curry. Other chalet a light bulb exploded and hit me, and showered sparks all over the bed. Knocked out all the lights. Security quickly came and got lights back on. Sign posts need to be lit- spent ages looking for a caravan or two, as we were told, to find out after searching it was actually two chalets.
