St Ives Bay Beach Resort

Was an amazing site with different properties to stop in and everything you needed was on site. Perfect for children and Adults. Will definitely be returning next year as there is so much to explore.

The site is in a great location and internally the accommodation was clean, however externally its left much to be desired, nothing a quick jet wash and some pride wouldn't sort. On site facilities are lacking when compared with some bigger names in the industry, and the man running the on site NISA shop, what an arrogant individual. Needless to say I won't be going back after this experience, and certainly wouldn't recommend unless you intend to use the accommodation as base camp and do everything off site, including any shopping.

Lovely place for beach holiday

Great place for families. Lots of activities to keep everyone busy. It would have been nice if we had shower towels. I had to ask the reception for towels and they charged me for it. Overall experience was great.

On the whole the chalet we stayed in was very clean but little things let the site down, the windows in the chalet had all finger marks, the door itself was dirty, the light outside, sounds as if I’m nit picking but the finish can make all the difference to the site itself

Unusual property, it was like a bungalow, but was nice and large, 3 bedrooms, toilet and shower, kitchen/diner/living room

We stayed in the 2-beds chalet for 4 nights while touring around Cornwall. The place was great, we were a bit concerned after reading some reviews but the accommodation exceeded our expectations, all the staff members were very nice, it was clean in the chalet, and around the resort. The beautiful sandy beach was within walking distance. Although we didn't attend any of the organised evening entertainments (just not our thing), we could see that people were enjoying it. Great thing was that Lidl was "just around the corner" so if you decide to make your own breakfast/meals, food shopping is not a problem. The only minus for us (some of us was relying on roaming) was the lack of WiFi in the chalet, and the only place where it was accessible was the bar. All in all, an excellent place to stay and we will definietly stay there again if we ever come back to Cornwall.

My only comment would be to have a couple of things added to the welcome pack 1-hot water is controlled by a switch in the lounge to ensure it is turned on before having a shower 2-clear instructions for checking out process. Example key should be return to office unless out of hours to be handed back at the barrier/gate office Other than I had an excellent stay!

The 4 Birth Comfort Plus Chalet was very clean & spacious.
