The Lodge at Cloudcroft

Great historical property.

We loved the cool, beautiful setting, the hotel's character, helpful staff. There were limited power outlets in the room itself.

This was one of the least comfortable beds I’ve ever had. It was incredibly soft and saggy where people had slept and was only fairly firm in the middle, but to sleep there meant squeezing my wife pretty badly. Mattress was in dire need of replacement. Otherwise the property was cute and interesting and the food and service at the restaurant was fine.

The golf course and on site restaurant were exceptional. Will definitely return in future for the temperate climate, get away from Texas heat.

It was unfortunate that the bar and restaurant were closed Sunday through Tuesday

It’s a great hotel . Needs a few upgrades but atmosphere and ambiance is great . Love the location too

Cool property at the top of the mountain. Great views with a bunch of history!

The hotel was beautiful and historic but the age factor is my only issue. Whoever was in the room above us got up early and was walking around for 2 hours with the floor/ceiling creaking and popping with every step. Very difficult to sleep. The fine dining restaurant was nice however be prepared to wait a very very very long time to get your food. Once we finally got our food it was very good but we were fed up with the waiting and our waiter ignoring us during this long wait. Would definitely stay here again but avoid dinner and get a room on the top floor.

Friendly staff. Room adjustment to first floor from 3rd. No elevator *& we didnt want to vlimb stairs.

Great place. We will definitely be back! Maybe around Christmas!
