Staff were very nice and helpful. Caravan was clean and warm when we arrived on a cold day. Plenty of space for two of us staying. Nice location. We liked the faux fireplace, and the caravan was nice and warm, mostly.

A few things sorry. Having to take our own sheets was not ideal as we we were using public transport to get to there. There was no washing up liquid to wash the dirty cutlery in the caravan, so we used hot water, not very hygenic, and no drying towel for dishes, or maybe just some paper towels would have sufficed. The wifi did not work at all for us, :-( nor did we have a signal on our mobiles throughout most of the caravan, which we obviously needed to communicate with family whom we had travelled to see for a wedding. The first night we were there, there was a music rave going on in the nearby caravan until abour 1.30am, which meant we were extremely tired for the family wedding next day. That was a real shame and unfortunate and I would hope very unusual. The caravan heating/electrics all went off as we left for the wedding on the 11th, and we could not see anyone in the office to ask about that, I wondered if it was their protocol! When we arrived back after the wedding around midnight, 11th Nov, we discoverd there was NO electricity at all in the caravan! We were VERY lucky there had been an event at the site bar, so there were still people around to help with that, eventually locating the problem, and switching the electrics back on. The caravan was VERY cold at 10c, but we managed to sleep eventually. It would have been very helpful to have known where the site manager caravan was in case of such an emergency! Some of the things in the caravan were substandard, the toaster did not work and the kettle was rubbish. It would have been VERY useful to have a welcome folder telling us how things worked, eg if poss to adjust heating levels, and details about where to buy essentials etc. Also we really could have done with MORE TIOLET ROLL, two rolls for two nights for two was definitely not enough!!! We had to ask my family to bring us some when they came to pick us up for the wedding. The small things matter! Thanks.

Lovely quiet park. Birds and wildlife. Closeness to Beamish museum. Heating on in caravan when we arrived.

Nothing. Slight hitch with kettle.

If you want self-catering just down the road from Beamish - this is great as we took 2 days to visit all of Beamish - but I would not suggest walking it, as quite a hill and further than expected- but can be done. The mobile home was lovely and warm with plenty of hot water and good TV reception.

Didn't realise you had to pay £20 for the key, which was returned as we don't usually have cash - but found it, but it took longer than expected at checkin. They did offer a cashback facility but not sure if it would have cost. perhaps I didn't read all the blurb. Needed a few more kitchen utensils - such as spatulas and scissors, but we did cope, with handy penknife. Shame you have to take your own sheets and towels.

Didn't have breakfast and the location was in a nice tranquil area and easy to get to. Site was easy to move around and looked clean and the play area kept the kids entertained.

WiFi you need to purchase but it was a weak signal in relation to the caravan we stayed in so it would connect and then disconnect within 30 seconds so the point in paying for WiFi was lost as you couldn't connect long enough to do anything. Signall boosters required for the whole site. With having no phone service, the WiFI was required but is only available near the main building with decent/good service. My partner advised the entertainment could be better advertised with rough estimate timings even though it is subject to the number of guests participating.

Location is fabulous as we were focused on getting to the Beamish Museum. Anthony was very kind and helpful. More than enough room for us.

The laundry was very expensive, especially drier. I am sure it was on their information, but who travels with towels and sheets? I don't think we were exactly their target audience, coming from the states and using carry-on luggage.

Very quiet Great location

Dusty thoughout Outside of toilet very dirty Several hairs in shower.

Play park for the kids, clubhouse for the adults. Roomy caravan. Parking Ideal location away from the busy streets but close enough to travel to the local facilities.

Late night and early morning noise. Cleanliness of the caravan was poor. Lack of bedding, no sheets!!! Had to sleep on a mattress protector.

Its not wot I thought it would be,the camp shop was very poor and lack of information about wots going on in club house
