Was very clean and staff were very friendly

Section of fridge missing to stand milk in . Kick board in kitchen kept falling off . Also maybe tlc needed some things looked tired ie .. floor lino was ripped .

The hottub is definitely the best part about this retreat, we were in and out of it constantly. The pub on site is nice and the staff are lovely.

The lodge itself was abit tired in places such as the floor coming up in parts and the beds are very uncomfortable and can feel every spring. The shower head in ours was broken. The kitchen is very poorly equipped, you are not given kitchen roll, tea towel or anything like that. They give you barely any cooking tools such as pans and utensils however I believe this is to encourage you to eat in the pub by not giving you enough to cook with. The lane to get to it is very bumpy so if you have a low car I wouldn’t take it as we did scrape the bottom of our car. Don’t get me wrong the remote location is very peaceful and adds to relaxing in the hot tub. This is our second time here but we won’t be returning

I never complaine but the food was shocking at the pub. Also on a Friday night last orders was at 10clock. We had a chicken burger with salad and they also put peas on the plate. All dry food. So take plenty of food with you. There are no shops on site. Nothing much to do in the middle of no where. If you want a relaxing time away from everything then yes. Pub is really run down needs alot off TLC smells like a greasy cafe. All staff was friendly though..

My boyfriend and I stayed and the first night the boiler wasn’t working we could see the air as we breathed. My boyfriend called Gary to which we were forced to wait another hour by 11pm we went to the pub and asked for help we were told to wait 30 minutes so the guy could finish the karaoke machine when my boyfriend said no as we were freezing they begrudgingly helped us. It was not a good experience

Very modern really friendly staff bar was good really nice location

Wasn’t the cleanest in the shower insects in the door sill also in the curtain mesh cooker was also not clean no shower mat and no hand towels a little bit of dirt in hot tub
