Houseboat Moon of Kashmir

The rooms were clean.

No electricity, gave us a small boat so we almost drowned, near death experience. No heater after 11pm so you would get sick at -4 degrees. Very rude, all lies in terms of facilities and services. Do not recommend to anyone.

Mountain view from the balcony, neat and tidy well decorated room with a clean washroom ( with bath tub), special care by Manzoor Bhai, who saw to it that we felt warm and cosy in the cold.

Better food options could be provided.High dinner price of Rs 500 per person.

Gulzar bhai was amazing host, extremely cooperative and friendly. Loved our stay.

Most painful experience is that I was offered other houseboat againt booking of Moon of kashmir, though booked house boat was vaccant. Offered property was below standard and was deep inside.Later Moon of kashmir was alloted to me with new increased rate almost double the booking amount. I was said home cooked food will be served @1000 for we two people.But we were given simple packed resturant food of average quality in stead.

Rate and property once fixed should be followed strongly.How this can be done is responsibility of Booking .com.While in journey travellers do,nt want to do arguement regarding violation in dealings and especially being in family trip.

The accommodation was very nice and above expected. The owners Mansoor Bhai has ensured every required things are in place and made it feel like home.
