Houseboat Moon of Kashmir

Well decorated house boat! Our room was nice with heated blankets, attached bathroom with tub bath facility. Nice living room with dining and a great balcony. It has a view of Shankaracharya temple. Food was cooked by the family and was very tasty. Gulzar bhai was always in touch. He picked us with Ashiq Bhai in Shikara from Gate 7. Nice experience!

Location of the house boat is on the side lake and not in the main Dal Lake. Shikara ride by Ashiq Bhai was ok. One small suggestion about Shikara ride: They need to spend more time in main Dal Lake instead of taking us to floating market again and again.

Excellent location with all good services, very neat and clean houseboat. but the hi-light was ‘The Gulzar bhai ki Family’. Gulzar janab was awesome 🤩 and all his lovely family. I heartily recommend Moon Of Kashmir.

Staffs were too good and hospitable. we ate rogan josh from there.it was homemade and too delicious.

Bad thing is that u have to come early till 6-7 pm otherwise u will not get shikara to reach there.in morning u have to move out at 10 am because before that shikara people don't come to drop u to the main road.negotiate goodly with shikara people .stay careful.they will try to manipulate u alot more than which u expected.use houseboat as enjoyment for 1-2 days stay and leave outside after that .thanks...note- I'm travelling in mid January

This property was beyond our expectations. Everything was good about Moon of kashmir. The host, the place, the food everything was good.
