Robertson Country Motel

Location was good

My gps said I had arrived at the motel- I immediately reversed thinking it had directed me to an abandoned building. There was no clear motel sign, looked very unkempt & unwelcoming. I was texted a code for the door with the key, as there was no reception. I really didn’t feel comfortable there & would not stay again.

Phone in staff was extremely helpful. Maintenance guy, Alan, was sooooo helpful.

The lockbox didn’t work well so we had to call for help. It would be nicer to have on site staff but with just six rooms, it’s understandable that there’s no onsite staff.

The place was exactly as I expected. Friendly staff and clean linen. Great area for bush walking.

The room suited our needs, spacious

Upon arrival, we had trouble accessing the key. Once achieved, there was no key. I contacted the proprietor to get a key, once opened the room had not been cleaned after previous occupiers, moved to another unit, which was suitable, the cutlery was not sufficient, 1 knife, 1 fork and a teaspoon, whilst this was happening another couple turned up and had not been given a code to access their room, using our phone they contacted the proprietor to get access to their room, again upon entering this room had not been cleaned as well. After a day out, we returned and found that the used towels had not been replaced. Again, I contacted the cleaner who assured us they would be done the next day. Other than these issues, we were happy with the facilities.
