Contemporary Caravan at Newquay Holiday Park

The holiday park the property sits in was fantastic, plenty for the children to do and good facilities for adults.

Cleanliness was disgusting on arrival the caravan smelt damp which you can tell is an issue with the number of dehumidifiers in the caravan, cutlery was filthy, sofa bed was covered in dirt and webs, generally very dusty and to top it off found a used condom wrapper underneath the bed. Lights weren't working in the bathrooms so made it very difficult using these in the evening, reported to the facility management with no response. Spoke with the owner about the cleanliness and offered compensation of less than 10% paid for the property as claimed he was unable to afford anymore due to the costs to have the caravan cleaned. The caravan is nice if the time and effort was put into it and the money received from people using the property was reinvested. Based on this stay I don't believe it was worth anywhere near what we paid for it and feel massively out of pocket and unfortunately had an adverse affect on the holiday.

The location was amazing! Just few miles to famous Beaches in Newquay! Beds were super comfortable and I think we were a family of 4 adults and one child and it was just perfect for that price.

I think there could have been some regular necessary kitchen stuff items been have maintained like paprika,1-2 Sauce bottles, enough Sugar(instead of handful sugar cubes)etc . Cutlery items weren’t cleaned -Had to rewash them

The caravan had a spacious lounge and was in a quiet area of the site, but easily accessible to entertainment centre via paths. £28 per adult for a weekly pass to access the sites many activities. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water for showers, etc.

Unfortunately the weather was poor while we stayed, the caravan is partially under a tree so rain constantly drips on the roof from it and the down pipe outside the bedroom constantly drips, so earplugs during the night are a must in bad weather. The TV was in an awkward position, one of the sofa arms partially obscured the screen. WIFI was welcome, although signal was weak. No bath mat, so had to use the hand towel provided to stand on when exiting the shower. The kitchen knives were all blunt, a sharpener would be helpful.

The bed was so comfy and it was located not far from the beach and local town. The rooms were all nicely sized and the kitchen came with quite a few things.

The main problem was the Wi-Fi not working.

The facilities were second to none everything being clean and welcoming on arrival The holiday park was an ideal location for day trips around newquay and surrounding destinations we chose to visit,

Would have liked to have access to the pool but needed an owner code or something?
