Good size bedrooms, hot tub a lovely addition although they need attended to and cleaned more often

All minor issues that could be very easily fixed that would make a huge difference to the quality of our stay. No welcome pack/information in the accommodation. Not enough crockery or utensils for everyone to have a meal or coffee together, not enough cutlery, no items to clean the floor with (brush, dustpan etc), no drinking glasses, disposable plastic tumblers only. Nobody came to check the hot tub the 3 days we were there. Decking very slippy and needs cleaned and treated; my 6 year old slipped coming in from the hot tub and split his chin open resulting in a trip to the hospital. Wires hanging down from television and extension swinging. Broken blind in living area. Very basic ‘lodge’ and would not describe a luxury.

No table and chairs on decking, therefore, nowhere to sit and park was beside a very noisy road. Bed uncomfortable.

Set in a lovely location hot tub was brilliant had everything you need .

It wasn’t clean at all there were dust lying on each cupboard and everywhere duvet cover was dirty too and hair all over the bed. The dishes were so rusty specially the pans and the cups and cutlery. They Should provide more description to the website and clearly mentioned what’s including, they didn’t provide the basic stuff for two days stays usually I booked some places they given the bath gel and at least some sprays liquids to put in the toilet. And most important I didn’t get the lodge I booked on the internet it was totally different from the pictures I booked for. Very disappointed the price I paid for not worth it.

They put the heating on for us arriving which made it feel cosy and once we put the heating off we realised that the lodge fair holds a heat too. Even though we were only an hour away from home it felt as though you were in another world. The site warden was really helpful in showing us how to work the hot tub which may I add was amazing and definitely clean. We will 100% be returning.

Upon reading the mixed reviews regarding cleanliness the night before I was a little apprehensive about going. However upon arriving the place was clean and well organised. The only “complaints” we had was around the signal which we expected because it states online there is no WiFi but it just made it a little harder to check in on our little one who stayed at home with his granny. The other was that there was no TV in the bedroom, the bed was a lot comfier than the sofa bed so it would have been great to have a tv in the bedroom however it got us interacting instead of laying in bed so couldn’t complain too much about it.

Run down, grubby unclean. No luxury at all! No hoover or even pan and brush. Hot tub only cleaned once during 4 day stay. Kitchen had a dishwasher that wasn't even plumbed in. Bed made up of different bases. Mould on tiles. Pots and pans were disgusting.
