Mr Hares shepherd hut

Such a cosy, peaceful stay. Even in February we were very snug. We hope to visit again. It was excellent value for money and full of character. Eye was such a pretty and interesting town and worth a visit.

The hosts were lovely and so was the location. Waking up to the birds chirping was really nice, and it was easy to get to Eye and Diss, and for some walks

I have one acre of land to myself, for someone who likes astrology , it meant a lot to me, in comparison to London the nights here where pitch black.I was able to see a shooting star one night, and the Orion nebulae.{through my telescope} I wasn't aware that it is quite close to minsmere royal society of birds nature site, there are a few more dotted near the coast but I was able to visit this one also a castle maintain by the natural trust.The first one I have encountered with the watch gangway complete, that your able to experience how they felt.parking on site is only £4.00 , for the day, which is nothing when you compare how much your expected in London.lovely artisan bakery , and chocolatiere shop, but only one supermarket a co op, which for me didn't have that much available.If you like fresh milk or meat there is a place nearby that sells it directly{self service }from the farm.i don't eat meat so I can't say how great it is, but I can assure you of how fresh it looked. when I was there ,there was no noise pollution, only the one coming from my hut, or when I was playing outside, whilst gazing outside with the stars.They have blankets that you can use for outside, and there's a fire pit your welcome to use.The site is very reasonable priced, and the heating is controlled by you, and not a timer, so if you want to stay in nice and cozy all day you can keep it on.at the end of the day I hope to return.

Unfortunately nothing

The hut looked quite appealing from the pictures but on arrival we were disappointed on how poor the all thing looked rather like a ramshackle, there was no space to do anything and i needed due to my health condition to prepare meals but that was impossible with zero space to do anything. The place wasn't exactly clean under the bed there was a lot of dirty and the tiny shower had black spots around the edges. We left after one night and moved to another accommodation more suited to my needs asked the owner to consider our situation but we were refused even just a partial refund despite them putting the things we left behind outside straight away even so technically the place was still ours for the next 3 days.

Clean, cosy and good location for our needs. Well supplied with bits and bobs

No lighting on way to hut through field. Field very muddy and boggy, a path or stepping stones would be a great addition! Owner did warn to bring wellies to be fair.

hot water finishes very quick so struggle to wash dishes
