Kitchen crockery and cooking utensils not cleaned properly. Cold tap in shower was seized so shower didn’t work properly. Noisy kids in the room next door.

It was run down rated as a 4 star but it wasn’t even a 1 star.

For an overnight stay, this was very adequate. It was off the road and quiet, quiet, quiet. Accordingly I had a good sleep. The bed was comfortable, clean sheets and towels and the room was large. Whilst perhaps not quite up to the standard of a motel, it was after all a childproof resort.

Location was great for our needs. Our host was friendly and accomodating on arrival.

The pool was slimy and dirty. Disappointing on our arrival given the heat. The room was dirty, spider infested (some say funnel webs from those that have viewed my photos but I’m not convinced as I have no idea) on EVERY window, and covered throughout with spider webs. I “disposed” of 4 and couldn’t get another 3. We moved one of the beds to move away from one of the windows for that reason to find an old dirty musty sock (it’s now in your bin) and food rubbish (old banana) and food wrappers (also in your bin now). The bathroom tap was broken and was no longer sitting in its seal or in its rightful position. It was obvious this room had not been prepared prior to our arrival as the cobwebs covered the kitchen drawers and the walls. Yes I took photos. I travel regularly throughout Victoria and NSW and this is the worst state of accomodation I have stayed in unfortunately. This is also the first time I have given a review of this nature but surely cleanliness is an absolute MUST and there is no excuse for the lack of. A broken tap can possibly be put down to bad luck or poor timing but not cleanliness. Even the torn Lino and damaged carpet, maybe, but not cleanliness. Room 4, 100% needs fumigation.

The staff were fantastic. I arrived late and they were very responsive and friendly
