"Staying on a real paddle steamer was special, view amazing, very peaceful and overall great value."

The location was wonderful - private, peaceful, very relaxing, amazing view. We loved sitting on the deck, watching the birds, particularly the pelicans and swans. A few days would really help anyone to wind down. We were greeted by a swan in the morning obviously expecting to be fed! The accommodation wasn't overly luxurious but that didn't detract from the relaxing experience and the price was totally reasonable. We congratulate the owners for preserving the paddle steamer, seeing photos of its history was interesting. The kitchen provided everything we could have needed and the bathroom was claen and surprisingly spacious.

Having no power points in the bedrooms was disappointing. One of our party has sleep apnea and needs to plug in the machine the helps him breathe. Any guest would expect to be able to plug in a phone, iPad, etc., in the bedrooms.

Unique location amongst the water birds. Great kitchen facilities and generous breakfast supplies.

Beware that it's totally off grid but all worked fine and the gas heater warmed us up nicely

How secluded we were. It was just the 2 of us and the wildlife. So very relaxing and peaceful.

The only thing was the floor in the bathroom but I know it’s getting fixed.
