Very quiet. Outlook onto murray River. Birds. Plenty of room.

Absolutely Incredible Stay! It truly exceeded all expectations. The view of the water was absolutely breathtaking — peaceful, serene, and constantly alive with different species of birds. It felt like our own little private sanctuary. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. You really have to experience it in person to understand how special it is.

If you're looking for a five-star hotel, this may not be the place for you. But if you're after a unique and memorable experience in nature, this spot is absolutely perfect. One of the highlights was a magical moment when a group of black swans came to visit us — truly unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the future.

Nothing to complain about.

This is such a unique experience. This accommodation has everything you could want for a pleasant stay. Waking up to an amazing sunrise and wildlife right outside your door was spectacular. The breakfast provisions and bottle of wine were greatly appreciated.

This is certainly not a criticism but if you are very tall like me, you'll need to watch your head! haha

You’ll never stay anywhere as unique as this. An absolute gem of a place. Unusual & spectacular. You should plan to eat there and enjoy the sunset on deck, have dinner & some wine maybe a game. Relaxing beyond belief with gorgeous views and wildlife. I’d love to go back some day.

The lock to the door needs to be higher felt like a hobbit to unlock the door becuase i am six foot tall. The jetty needs a major upgade becuase the wooden boards are unsafe to walk on.

It was a WOW as soon as we boarded the boat. There is a true paddle boat feel and location on the lake was private and felt secluded, yet we walked into Goolwa, which is a lovely town. You can hear the raging sea from the boat. The bed was very comfy and great on the top deck. There was heaps of breakfast supplied. Communication (texts) from owners was fine, but did not see them, thus the rating. Goolwa beach was great for a dip.

It should be disclosed in the detail at booking that the accommodation is 'OFF GRID' just so you are prepared. Being 'Townies' we were a bit apprehensive about water use and restrictions on 240v use. Not a concern for us BUT be aware the beds are on the upper deck and the stairs are steep.

Spotlessly clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable seating and beds. Excellent breakfast provisions. Very helpful and friendly owner.
