This was amazing. The view was beautiful. The staff was so very helpful. This hotel was very traditional and a wonderful experience. This is my favorite hotel of the trip. The hot springs was great.

Great experience of staying here. It was calm and relaxing to have open air bath in the middle of forest. We could see tranquil atmosphere of Amagase onsen village with wall-like mountain alongside the river. Kaiseki dinner was fantastic. We could see true Japanese hospitality here. Thank you for your service.

Not much. It would be great if they sell some if basic stuff such as beer or cookies like Lawson or Familymart since this hotel is far from those convenience store.

The meals were delicious with portions larger than I was expecting, even for my child. The building and rooms looked renovated and were clean. The staff were very friendly and kind to our family, especially my one-year-old. I would like to stay here again sometime.

The owner and staff are very friendly and patient. The property is beautiful and provided great meals. The owner here is so kind, she walked us to our car when we were leaving and thanked us for coming. I am so happy to have met such wonderful people in Japan. I am grateful for the excellent service I received.

I would have liked to have more English information about the hot springs, gift shop, meals and private rooms available at the onsen. There was an employee that could speak English and she was very helpful, so we managed to get things done smoothly for check-in and meals.

They cannot change my towel when the towel is dirty, they need give more around ¥400.

- The room was huge. All inclusive. My room had the bathtub. River view was also nice. - The breakfast and dinner were delicious. We can see that they made a lot of effort in detail. - The hotel offers 6 onsen baths (4 inside the hotel; 2 outside which you need to walk down the stairs). - Staff were super friendly.

If you drive a car, the car park may be limited in front of the hotel, but the hotel said they have reserved parking spots. Another thing I may not like is that it was quite a distance to walk to the onsen which was outside the hotel.

Big spacious room on the top floor with a nice view of the river. Good service from all personnel. Good variety and very filling dinner and breakfast.
