Hotel Fuki no Mori

Quiero destacar la atención del personal que es excelente. La experiencia de la ubicación en las montañas, así como el cuidado de los onsen. La cena y desayuno tradicional también, la amplitud de las habitaciones tradicionales, etc.

Las instalaciones requieren de una renovación (cambio de papel de pared, etc.) que están dañadas.

The Onsen was incredible and it was also nice to spend time with my partner in the private Onsen, but not as nice as the main one. The food was excellent and having a private dining room was unexpected and very nice. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable.

The staff weren't around and sometimes tricky to get hold of. The hotel is quite a distance from anywhere, this makes it lovely and quiet. The view from our room wasn't great, lots of power cables.

It was so beautiful and serene. Beautiful place to stay nestled in the woods. Nice to have the complementary shuttle pick up and drop off. The private Onsen wax a nice option to have especially after a day of walking from Magome to Tsumago in the rain.

We found sitting for meals on the traditional tatami floor was uncomfortable.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a free shuttle service from Tsumago and Nagiso to the hotel which was very helpful. The onsen was a lovely experience aespecially after walking part of the Nakasendo trail. Such a great idea to swap the men and women’s over at midnight so you can experience a different view of the mountains. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor baths. The meal was incredible, delicious and beautifully presented. It was great to have such fresh, local cuisine and helpful that each course was explained .Breakfast was also delicious and had several courses although each one was reasonably small.To have it served in our own Japanese style room was lovely .

The communication regarding the shuttle was a bit a puzzle . Maybe a WhatsApp connection would work better

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was amazing. The facilities were beautiful but a bit outdated. The sky deck and the private onsen are must tries. We had a wonderful experience in the property. We would return and recommend the hotel.

Some facilities are outdated.
