Kera Houseboats Alleppey

The houseboat was well maintained & the bedroom was clean & comfortable.

Great value for money. Meals were well cooked and we were well looked after by the staff. Boat was immaculately clean and it was one of the first hot showers we had in India. Boat was very comfortable. Felt like royalty. Word of warning: it seems you don’t actually see the images of the boat you’ll be on before you book – we received a WhatsApp with some photographs and then a phone call to ask if everything was going to be okay with the newly proposed boat.

The boat immediately next to ours – 1 m away – had a very loud party until after midnight and despite whatsapping and calling the manager (it was the same boat company) nothing was done. On board staff seemed reluctant to get involved. Also: Maybe this is on us, but I thought perhaps we’d see more wildlife – you just do a couple of loops of the same big water around the dock so didn’t feel that we particularly delve into the back waters as much.

Kings houseboat with luxury service. Very clean and fresh room and furniture. Ac works good and silent. Comfortable bed. Good wi fi. Very very delicious food. Helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Exceptional Experience at Kera Boathouse** Our stay at Kera Boathouse was absolutely wonderful. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The experience was peaceful and calm, surrounded by the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey. The boat was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The food was delicious and added so much to the overall experience. Truly a relaxing and memorable stay — highly recommended!

Maybe a little itinerary of costs of other things you can do when on the boat like the massages and the speedboat etc as we had no idea until the moment and we were low on cash.

Purtroppo, la costa del lago è molto degradata da incuria della gente del posto. Nessuna attività di intrattenimento a bordo.

Shyam & Unni were great for the two days that we were with them as the cook and captain of the boat. We stayed for two nights and they made sure that we went to a new and more peaceful location on the second day when we had more time. The food was good and they even accommodated our picky children.

Everything was great

Friendly staff, willingness to accomodate our wishes and offering suggestions.

Approach to boat

We had a fantastic experience and staff was very helpful, polite, and courteous. Food was very delicious. I would highly recommend them for your houseboat experience.
