Kera houseboats are run professionally. The staff are polite, attentive, and considerate. Not all backwater houseboats have great reviews, but these guys are attentive to detail. They collect sterile water for cooking and cleaning instead of other boats that collected water from larger lake. They took us deep into the backwaters, where we were the only houseboat around. They arranged for us to take a small boat into tiny village tributaries. The food and drinks were delicious. No hidden fees. A beautifully relaxing few days watching the world float by.

Don't get a hot shower on our boat, but it didn't concern us too much.

The whole experience exceeded my expectations. The venue and especially the staff where excellent, couldn't do enough to please.

Beautiful two day cruise through the Kerala backwaters. The captain and the chef were very friendly and kind and the food was amazing. They fed us so well!!! We loved how peaceful it was and thoroughly recommend taking two days as we got to go to a more peaceful part of the backwaters away from the other houseboats. They organised a little side tour in a canoe to visit the narrow waterways which was fun. Thank you to Shajan our captain and Shaiju Paul our wonderful chef.

Felt it could be a bit cleaner. It wasn’t dirty but it just felt like it need a good deep clean. The communication before we arrived was a bit unpredictable too and could be better.

Great staff, superb food, comfortable boat

The admin/Management side of the business requires significant improvement. There were issues with having to pay outside the booking.com area but the firm is genuine. Communication could also be better.
