Krishna Motel - Newly Built in Papakura

I liked location but staff was constantly off site. Other than that the staff when there were helpful and friendly.

was dissapointed that there was no where to hang my stclothes or shelving to put my soap in the shower stall. No egg spatulas or serving tools in kitchens.

Liked that the room had what me and my family were looking for, decent accommodation with amenities close to Bruce Pulman Arena. Has large fridge/freezer, stove top and microwave and aircon for the room which was good. Close to late night eateries and townships with supermarket. And fairly everything was enough for us thanks. They were also able to accommodate when we asked for extra night.

Room was decent with mostly everything you would need, but found the TV was so small for the size of the room, the shower was small. Bed was average but pillows a bit thin. When I initially called to query about my booking - I wasn't able to get certain answers and the service on the phone felt a bit rushed. Walls/ceiling felt a bit thin cause I could hear loud stomping/walking and when people talked/laughed loud too. Other units had clients/customers with loud dramas - fighting and yelling some nights (but can't fully be controlled). And be aware it is off main road which can be very busy sometimes incase you have children.

Location great for us. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable.

Reception wasn’t open (even though we arrived during the arrival times) and it appeared to be a handyman that showed us to our room. We were staying in a downstairs room and upstairs was rather noisy with people walking around early in the morning. No shower mat or hand towels. Some loud abusive sounding guests outside our room.

The fridge freezer is a very good size for such a motel. Bathroom is quite newly and nicely decorated and supplied with soap, shampoo and a good sized towel each. Bed was comfortable. clean and neat room. microwave and basic equipment provided. Easy to find a meal - good Indian Nepalese restauarant (Timurr) less than 10 minutes walk away, also Mcdonalds, Wendy's, KFC.

My main gripe is that the photographs are so enhanced that there is disappointment on arrival. It's clean and decent place for a night's stay- but why make it look luxury, with towel arrangemetns on red bedspreads when this doesnt happen?. It's very conveniently located, on the Great South Road half an hour from Auckland airport - but therefore rather noisy on the main road. But overnight traffic light.

No one was in reception the door was locked so I had to call them and this was around 4.15pm. My room hadn’t been vacuumed I got glass in my toe walking around the room. Window was broken, ants on the sink, room was full of dust around the walls on the skirtings. And there were a lot of people walking around all night and it looked like the end units were housed out to state emergency family’s. My car tyre got slashed in the carpark on the first night.
