Puri Air Beach Resort & Spa

Puri Air Resort was close to a lot of good restaurants and bars. Puri Air was in a great location, you could hire a bike and ride around the whole island easily. You could watch the sunset from straight out the front of the Resort. The rooms were dated, but clean and the bed was comfortable. I had come from 5 star accomodation at Bali and did not feel uncomfortable. I would stay at Puri again. The staff were amazing, we had a couple of maintenance issues while we were there (toilet didn’t flush and power kept going out). The staff fixed it straight away each time.

The power went out quite often, but I am not sure whether it is because we were on an island or if it was the facilities. Regardless the staff fixed it immediately. The food was not great, we made the choice to buy breakfast else where even though it was included in the package. The cocktails seemed watered down, but you could get decent cocktails next door.

Unfortunately we chose a place to stay that had a pool, but the pool was closed for maintenance which we were not aware of.

Puri Air Resort was exactly as described. We did not have high expectations as it is 2 stars. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. It is all you can ask for on this lovely island. I would stay there again. Great location, really good bars and restaurants are close and you can watch the sunset.

Great value for money. Bungalows were a god size.

Might be normal for Gili Air, but hot water, wifi and electricity was not consistent.

Perfect place, so beautiful

-The lady at the front desk is very nice and friendly, and so are the other staff members if you approach them. -location is outstanding, perfect to watch sunset -the garden and outside area is very nice

-first thing we noticed is that the bathroom isn’t cleaned properly. The walls and floor are covered in pink mold and we didn’t have water for a whole day. -the mosquito net had holes everywhere so was just hanging as a decoration. -power outlets were all loose -service was lacking attention, we were never asked if we needed towels, soap, or toilet paper. We stayed there for four nights and had to ask for it. -we booked a massage and when we arrived to our appointment the staff had forgotten, so they weren’t ready. It wasn’t a bad massage but didn’t feel professional. -when you sit at the restaurant you have to go to the staff to request to be served and sometimes you even feel like you’re bothering them. I spent my days at the restaurant next door, whose service was outstanding. -they’re lacking atmosphere, which is a shame keeping in consideration the awesome spot they’re at.

Very nice rooms and comfy beds, great location and easy to get to the busier parts of the island with a short walk. Lovely large pool, beach right opposite which was great. Great price and great stay overall!

Would have liked to have been able to sweep it or had room made up as lots of sand by end of trip.
