I liked how helpful and eager the employees were

customer service offered by iddris the manager prior to our visit. he repeatedly told me to cancel the booking the day before, as I expressed discontent over lack of air conditioning/amenity not listed properly on booking.com

NO heating at night! We heard ridiculous explanations – the heating wasn’t working, they claimed it was due to a lack of fuel in the generator, or that it was too loud and someone complained, so they turned it off. We were traveling with a small 7-month-old baby, but that didn’t matter to them at all. Moreover, the owner refused to speak with us on the phone, was rude, and hung up. We got our money back through Booking. The Sahara tour was in a very, very old car that barely worked. Not worth the price. NOT RECOMMENDED.

It was such an excellent stay at this hotel! We loved it very much: from our tent to the activities they provided! Thanks to the Hassan for making our stay so comfortable and interesting and warm! The food was also excellent, very tasty, thanks to the cook!

Everything went just perfect. It was really a pleasure to be a guest at Amskou Camp. Great tent in which you can feel like in luxury apartment, good food and amazing service including Berber music show. Hassan is truly amazing host who gave us a lot of useful tips for the rest of our journey through beautiful Morocco.

We loved the staff! Hassan went out of his way to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond in making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we could want. He is a treasure! Mustafa was such a delight. Always smiling. The rooms were the best appointed tents I had seen ( and I go to the end of the internet when searching places;) The food was delicious! Who knew the best French fries in the world would be made from a Berber man in Morocco!? Our camel ride at sunset was private. Our 4 wheelers private. We felt like the dunes were ours. It was an amazing stay. Much appreciated and gratitude. The Canadians!

If the shower could have a holder that would be awesome!

Very nice camp. We got a tent with very beautiful view to dunes. Clear communications. When we try to book hotel In dunes we found a lot of comments of extra charges for transportation, etc. There was everything clear. If you want to go with camels you have to pay extra, if you want to go directly to the camp - they pick you up for free. Dinner and breakfast was good. We expected evening with local Berber music and with real fire outside, but it was winter time, so music was in the main tent with gas heater, but we really liked it. Camp is not in a dunes. You have to walk 7-10 minutes to reach them but after half an hour you can be in really high dunes.

You can find twice cheaper camps without air conditioners, this one is with (it’s necessary in winter time). And we thought that in this high price it will be included. But in information sent to us after booking, we found out that conditioner cost extra 30€ per night. Big thanks for the owner that he didn’t take money from us (maybe that we have been with children), but keep that in mind. Heating starts after a dinner and stops about 5 a.m.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel, and it was all thanks to the amazing staff—special shoutout to Ibrahim, Walid, and Mustafa! Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable. After dinner, we enjoyed a magical firecamp with Berber music under a starry sky—an unforgettable experience!

Beautiful accommodations for the middle of the desert! Loved the staff, super friendly and welcoming. Activities were great, we stayed for 3 nights and had a great time!

All things considered (I.e. staying in the desert), it was a lovely stay! But for improvements - breakfast was on the slimmer side, we wish there had been a bit more food out in quantity and variety. Also our heater didn’t work through the whole night (presumably because the generator died) and it was frigid in the middle of the night, so we wish we had more warning on that! Also no shampoo or shower gel so make sure to bring your own!
