迷路のようでわかりにくい お風呂までが遠い 部屋風呂がもう少し綺麗だったらよかった。

Everything. The place is amazing. It is a pretty Big Ryokan, full of details: It has two baths, a shop with really good things to buy there, the restaurant is good, there is a karaoke even in the top floor. The room was increíble, very big, with a beautiful window facing a japanese garden with momiji (it was peak season when we were there). The bathroom was big and It has an ofuro made of wood. It was the most beautiful experience staying at Taishoya. Don't miss the chance to go to the outdoor baths they have on the mountains. That was the best bath that I ever have in a rotemburo, next to the river, light up at night... A magical experience.

"Classic hotel-ryokan stays. excellent food."

Hotel is located in older onsen town. our dinner course was really good staff was nice and we order drinks from Tablet table side. Hotel has 3 spots to enjoy onsen along with another location that you can take shuttle van to that onsen.

The hotel is little bit old but well maintained. only downside, small onsen. not as grand as I was hoping it to be. even the remote one.

The traditional dinner and breakfast were as expected.

The hotel is old and in need of an update. We felt the photos on the booking page did not really represent the current state of the facilities.
