Location only

This "hotel" needs more than a renovation. Maintenance is urgently needed. I felt like I was in prison, shared bathrooms were a shame.

The ground floor is a pub, and the accommodation is upstairs, which is convenient for those who want to have some drinks, food, and chill. I like that the staff members are friendly, and they help me with the Wifi access. The room is a good size for a solo traveller. The towels, linens, and bed are fresh and clean.

The room is dusty. The room I stayed in has a thick layer of dust on the timber venetian blinds and cobwebs on the ceiling. The soundproofing is poor, as you can hear people from the bar downstairs. Not ideal for light sleepers.

"Cosy motel on the way to Wilson’s Prom!"

Gorgeous iconic location. Lovely old school art deco rooms (upstairs)

More toilets and showers for the women would be great. Glasses, jug of water for the room would be nice too

"Kind people at an experiential motel ☺️"

The location was excellent after hiking and exploring The Prom. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good…I had an Asian noodle salad and my husband had prawns linguini. Staff was helpful and courteous…local folks eating around us were very chatty and friendly. Plenty of hot water and powerful shower. Clean, crisp linens.

The motel was old, but we knew that and were up for the experience. The mattress was very firm and I could feel most of the springs. Might be solved with some kind of memory foam topper…. Otherwise we were grateful for the close stay to all of our adventures.
