"Friendly, clean and comfortable! Very basic but fun."

Lovely old Art Deco building, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location right in the middle of the town, plenty of shaded parking. No breakfast but lovely cafe right opposite.

More hostel than hotel and fittings nostalgically reminiscent of boarding school! There’s a table on the landing with an electric kettle and coffee and tea sachets etc but only 4 mugs and no spoons. Water had to be sourced from the bathroom which was quite a way. No basins or TV in room. But none of these were dealbreakers, we had a lovely stay.

Location was convenient, parking fine, room okay, bathroom looking a bit tired. Everything looked generally clean. Bed was comfy, linen clean. Two dinners were quite nice, bit pricey though. Might return.

Was okay for what it was, no point is offering update suggestions, is what it is, a 70s motel unit attached to a country pub.
